1) looking for: Bassist
2) instrument: Bass (4 or 5 strings is fine, as long as u have a bass guitar)
3) influences/preferences: Well, the lead guitarist is a dreamtheater, A7X, Metalicca, U2, Satriani fan, Vocalist prefers more alternative, rock and latin rock, bands like matchbox20 and also santana kinda music, rhythm guitarist is a Pantera freak, and loves anything else heavy. Drummer is more influenced by 80's rock, alternative in terms of drumming but enjoys listening to metal too. Basically the band writes their own stuff and is very experimental and open to play different genres of music or music influenced by more than 1 genre. Currently most of the songs are alternative-ish, progressive rock-ish, but who knows what influences you would have to the music onece you join the band =)
4) location: Seri Kembangan/Cyberjaya
5) my requirements: Decent bass player who can commit and also contribute ideas for the band's music. My best friend started the band and He really wants every band member to contribute ideas to shape their music, so you gotta be the kind of person who is not shy to share your creativity with the band and can accept as well as provide honest and open feedback, criticism.
6) Add info: Bassists who are just starting up can also try as everyone in the band is friendly and willing to help you to improve, but you MUST have commitment la, especially if you are just starting to learn =)
