1. Im a All rounder. do play guitars, pianos, keyboards, drums & bass. but my role is lead guitar and i like to shred .
im 28 this year, have been torturing guitars for 12years.
performed various kinds of gigs & events for the past 4 years. have a basic knowledge about Stage PA systems & sound engineering(learned from our soundman).
i have my main job from morning till evening, and part time job as a lead guitarist & guitar teacher. ( i dont teach classical guitars )

2. Im more into Instrumental Music recently, which i think best way to put all my feeling & thoughts in my music. Inspired by Buckethead.

3. looking for all musicians in malaysia who like sharing knowledge of music, or music instruments ( looking for music friends wherever you are )

4. his/her influences/musical preferences; Music lover of course..! except blues and jazz.. ( feels like pervert ) wanna vomit when i try to play it. i guess those are not my style.

5. dont have specific requirements. all those who likes to share are welcome.

6. guitar teachers are welcome to share your experience about they way of teaching students. im currently teaching few of my beloved students how to compose their guitar leads/solo by ear base on random chords i provided. i dont want them just to copy other bands/artist's songs for their rest of their lives but also to know how compose their own music base on their thoughts & feeling and from those skills they've learned . its a harsh training. lol
any advise or better ideas are welcome to share.

7: here is my bad side.. i cant do sight playing. i cant really read tabs or scores. i cant pluck well.. lol


for newbies, if you are forming a band, make sure you got what it takes to handle it. its not easy as it seems, sooner or later everyone will grow, and will have different opinions & dreams.

tips & advise : there are pros & cons in a band either you pursue fame/money. or pursue skills.

fame & money .PROS :yeah , everyone loves this. u get well known.. you get lots of attentions.. you get to see flashmobs gone crazy while you playing on stage. and you get good money, girls loves you ! whoaa. nice to hear
them scream for you.
CONS : sooner or later, you will get very busy, u will feel tired, you dont even have time to improve yourself, you will just stuck there and be a copy cat for a long long time.. then u get rusted. when you got old..
you will be forgotten(i assume). WARNING : especially the vocalist. when they got fame,. they will think you cant do it without him/her, mostly they will leave your band behind, most superstar wannabe
will do that.

skills & interests : PROS : u will be very skillful of course, you can play most of the songs just by hearing it 1 or 2 times. under proper guidance, you can even create your own music/melodies. you will eventually gained respect
from other musicians.
CONS : less likely an average person will approve of what you are playing. mostly likely they will judge you syok sendiri, i get those slap on my face countless times from our seniors . its a heartbreaking
moment. only few will recognize what you've played or what kind of feelings are you trying to express. prepare for lots of cold bath on you.. and because of pure interests.. u dont care about fame
and money, so u dont make money .. haha

if you can keep it balance from all choices like fame,money,skills,interests. u will be the best of the best. to take this road, you will have to be a full time professional musicians.. and dont turn back.

music is you, your soul. play whatever genre you like, but also respect other genres. dont get brainwashed
