I notice this car achieved low drag by utilizing many undercarriage spoiler and diffuser. If you look at the undercarriage..almost the whole car wrapped up nicely for good airflow minimal drag. BUT I found my car front lower spoiler is missing? Can you guys check if your Insight have them?

Added on May 5, 2011, 1:11 pm QUOTE(psyeo @ May 5 2011, 12:03 PM) The beep sound won't be there if it sense nothing (read the small reverse sensor manual that comes with ur car) Actually me and my colleague (both insight) found it too sensitive, whereby it beep it there is a slight slope behind and things on te left or right or the car. So I don't think that it can't detect a car behind even if it is a Ferrari I agree, mine is super sensitive, put to R, it will beep and beep and beep...grrrr This post has been edited by iphone: May 5 2011, 01:11 PM |

QUOTE(vaio_me @ May 11 2011, 06:26 PM) Please share where you get these, scratch prevention treatment ??? I need it badly. I did it myself, bought the 3M dinoc from LYN forummer. This part always get scratch easily by our own shoes as we gett in and out of the car. I guess for the seat belt B pillar area, have to use similar scratch prevention trick too. Not sure wanna do it or not coz the whole car gonna be carbon-fied. Also it will be nice if someone can share how to prevent scratch on the plastic near the seat belt? |

QUOTE(infinitium @ May 12 2011, 03:24 PM) That is not my car actually, I just use a photo and circled that zone, wanna ask Insightians to check if theirs have such white powdery substance on their engines or not? Is quite obvious one, like some sort of burst gas or splashes but its dry powdery white substance. |

QUOTE(watonk @ May 13 2011, 08:52 AM) U know, that particular damn small rubber was made in japan. Bro, same exact feeling here. It just feels so satisfied each time seeing 'Made in Japan' on the Insight components while cleaning her. Even the bottom tiny red reflector on the rear bumper are made in Japan by Koito. Just a small geek between me and my brother, we open the rubber and compare it with the one on his City. To our surprise, the one on Insight have some embossing/marking and looks very nice, while the one on the City just regular rubber without any marking. Suddenly i felt very good owning a CBU car.... BUT sadly not all..this morning I saw this... |
