Actually i misread the memo Anyone who absent a day before/after public holiday without CONSENT of their superior will forfeit the public holiday given and will be accounted as leave.

I'm working in west side, hard labour

and hence compulsory public holiday

i overheard one interesting info, not sure if it true or not, that the day before election is "rest" day. lol, is that true? 2 days off? i dont even expect a public holiday on election day but 2 days?!

Meet the HSE lead? U prolly will meet Mr Asmawi. Which yard you will visit? Tanjung Kling or Samulun? I heard Samulun got many new pretty girls working under production side. Btw, who interviewed u?

For HSE, most of the time you guys will supervise around the yard and handing out love letter to those who deserve it. One love letter normally cost $50. For training, prolly at Ngee Ann Polytech and in return, you guys will conduct training for basic HSE for new engineers.

Oh, u guys also have access to vans and trucks for transportation between yards.

Wah bro, you must be working with some big companies. What field do u work in and how long you been working? I guess your annual salary in 120-240k bracket? Are you a PR or converted to Sgporean?

Seem like you dont really know much of Singaporean. Most Singaporean choosy because they can, provided they hold reputable degree from local SG uni, which most of them doesnt. After finish their diploma and gone through their NS, they started their working life. How much they earned? SGD1600-2200 in engineering field as AE. If they work for sales, probably more but with lower basic.

If the company interviewing you and you actually fall for their currency comparison remarks, then they think you are not worth their money. Sorry, but that's true. If they valued your experience, they will pay more to secure you instead of losing you to their competitor. Remember, you can choose if you have the capabilities/skills. Else beggars dont choose.

Singapore experience, Malaysia experience? What the heck are you referring to, bro? It's like asking whether you have experience driving European cars or Japanese car. Main issue is whether you have driving license or not? Get what I meant?
