Anyone tried if PXA-H701 3way active work? Will PXA-H701 fully function with this player IVA-W520E. Asking if any installer have tried installing this headunit with the processor!

Thanks in advance.

Oh like that, does that mean if I use 520 I need to use C701 controller to control the TA and Xover?

according to zenn and the rest,

u can control the 701 without using the c701. U cant use dolby surround with the 520. Worst still is that all signal will be converted twice (d/a on the HU then d/a on the 701) which is a big NO NO in car audio. lol.

H701 has fantastic processing power. so many parametres can be adjusted. its an ideal hardware for people who wanns to tune daily.

but if you wanna listen to good music daily with analog feel, remove H701 permanently..
H701 takes away the 'soul' of music!!

no need...
but with the controller is a lot easier than from the HU itself...

I haf a question

So if im using w520e with only the h701 processor without controller...

The available settings in my hu will change to reflect the additional things tat h701 provides?

if you connect the 701 to 520...

then inside your HU will have another new option available that is to make adjustment on the 701... much like your HU is working as the C701...

all adjustment will be saved on the 701. your HU will only works as a audio signal transport.
