Hi , the grundfos pump I have seems to make noises all the time . This is even though no pipes on . Seems like it keeps trying to pump

Sounds like humming and in interval of a few seconds

I don’t recall hearing this previously though

Anyone experienced similar issue in the past ?

Check the pressure reading at the pressure meter at the pump.

Likely there is water leakage somewhere down the line if you see the pressure going down the pump run to bring the pressure up then cut off after about 8 seconds.

Yes I think you’re right . I can’t check the pressure cause it is on the roof but I found one toilet with unclosed tap . Turn it off and seems to be quiet now . Darn I think my electricity just went up a notch due to the constant operation past few days

That's y it's better to have a switch to turn it on or off. Only on when need to use it like during shower time

I have that. But i turn it on most of the time, as whole of first floor will be low pressure without it.

My water pump stopped working for no reason.

Electricity from below available , no DB trip.
Pump is on the roof.

Does anyone knows of any technician able to assist to check?
Grundfos btw.

If you have photos, can snap and share here for us to c and advise. Photos of the pump, the piping and etc, further angle for us to see the installation.

also check at the controller got LED light or not.

Grundfos has 2 years warranty, if more than 2 years then can get my technician to fix, cheaper than grundfos
