I've noticed from the forum that the Grundfos's model has been changed to CM-CME series. (maintenance free model)
Anyone can advise me what is the (a) new model's name of (that is in the series of CM & CME) [CME is equivalent to "UNI E" series right?) (b) price?

[ OLD ] = [ CM ] = [ UNI-E ]
1. CH2-40PC = X = X
2. CH2-50PC = CM3-5PC = UNI-E CM3-5
3. CH4-40PC = CM5-3PC = X

CH2-40PC = 0.5HP; CH2-50PC = 0.75HP; CH4-40PC = ?? HP

Since the water pump will be installed on the top roof of the bedroom, it's advised to get the "E" series as it's quieter?

I've seen a house installed with (not sure what's the brand) the 0.5 HP water pump and it's very strong even with 2 showers on. Supposingly, 0.5 HP water pump is sufficient I think.

[edited: found out about some of the new name in the new series]

Sorry, need some inputs if any of you know?

1. I know that "PC" model is maintenance free. how about UNI-E series (by picture, it looks more like the PT series that requires pump in the gas every year)?
2. is "UNI-E" really quiet compare to the "PC" series? how many % quieter comparing to the "PC" series if you have any rough ideas

Thanks

Sorry. Just want to clarify. I have bought a Grundfos CM3-4PM pump at RM1600 (with installation). And I saw some other advertisements selling at RM1550(CM3-5PM1) and RM1850 (CM5-4PM1), both with installation. What are the differences and is my deal reasonable ?? Thanks.

Unfortunately I'm unable to answer you as I'm unfamiliar with them either. Need the expert to give you advise
Anyway, I don't see any series of "PM", only "PC", "PT" or "UNI-E" that I know of.
