Hi zheilwane,

I tested my house. Only the kitchen tap is direct from the service pipe.
Currently doing extension for wet kitchen.
Normally the piping will direct from the service pipe or from water tank?
I went to search for pump just now and the shop suggest me WALRUS water pump.
Is it reliable?

Grundfos bro a little expensive but reliable. Mine already 10 years still running with yearly maintenance. ( once a year).
My new house also using Grundfos ought from Zheilwane.

Mine is one with a pressure tank so the guy comes in checks the tank. Pumps air into the tank which needs to be done every 6 months if used extensively or once a year if not used much. I do it once a year. After about 3-4 years other electronic parts need to be changed. So they prove to me its getting spoilt and change it for me. Cost not much RM 200 plus for 2 services (so i get mine done yearly and renew the service contract ) plus some if parts reuqired to be changed. I deal directly with Grundfos in Shah Alam.

water comes out hot most probably pump overheat (running non-stop), cause could be leaking pipes or pressure manager faulty.

Do turn off electricity if you are not using the pump, if you notice the pump is running non-stop. If pump overheat and mech seal spoil = it is as good as buying a new pump, fixing cost like a new pump.

Climb up to the pump and check if the center part is leaking or not, if yes = mech seal spoil already = can buy new pump

Ok Bro thanks. As soon as i heard it continuously running i stopped it and hv switched it on to test occasionally to see if ok or not.
I hope Mech Seal not spoilt.(No leaks at ceiling where pump is located) fingers crossed. No choice hv to wait for Grundfos on Monday to see verdict.
If new pump required will contact you. Old pump asl bought from you.
Thanks
