Price Joven win,
Reliability, pressure and quality GRUNDFOS

DOnt think  u can find any good reviews for Joven pump, they are OEM and JOVEN is actually specialist for heaters not pump but Grundfos is the specialist for water pump

I’m using a joven pump.

I have been using it for 2 years and I am happy with it.

Much Cheaper than grundfos. Of course grundfos is a leader in pumps, but you have to pay so much more for it.

My joven pump gives me good water pressure and has been serving me well. I am happy with it.

If you have the money to spend, go for grundfos.

In my case I spent money on a major house renovation, buying the right product at a good price is important to ensure you don’t spend above your budget. Joven is a good established Malaysian brand too and at a good price. The pump is still serving me well.

I have a situation which just recently happened.

I turn on a water outlet and very low water pressure comes from that outlet. in other words, the pump didn't activate. when i turn on another water outlet, the pump activates and I start getting good pressure form both outlets. each time i have to open another outlet to activate the pump ( it takes 2 outlets to be opened to activate the pump).

This happens in all locations in my house. any idea how to solve this, is this a pump problem, if yes which part of the pump has malfunctioned? I don't think it's the motor as the pump still works, albeit, with the workaround method above.

piping issue?

seem like have to get a plumber to check what is the issue.

I don't think so. Pump is not being triggered by the water flow. It takes any two outlets to activate the pump.

another possible issue is air trapped in your water supply pipe.
*
I thought it could be air as well.

But it happens in all outlets, from my outside porch garden faucet right to the bathrooms above.

My washing machine returns low water pressure error due to this.

Not sure what’s the reason.

Thanks zheilwane. Already called the CS, now waiting for them to come.
Unfortunately it’s already more than 2years, so out of warranty
Not sure how much it cost to fix the controller. I’ll soon know!

how much was the damage bro?
*
Rm210 for the replacement part and rm60 labour by joven.

But I also payed extra to my plumber to do some modifications to add couplings to the pipe as recommended by the joven technician so that any maintenance will be easier in the future.

I think the charges are quite reasonable. The controller lasted me almost 2.5 years. So, excluding the cost of my own plumbing works this translates to rm9 a month of. Rm270/30 months..like a maintenance fees. Of course your mileage might vary.

Hope the controller lasts me another hopefully 3 years, then I will just change the part again as long as the pump motor is still working. No need to waste money buying a new pump. Grundfos is very expensive.
