Well, when i shifted to my new place, the water pressure was lousy as hell, then i got my contractor to do the bypass to increase the pressure to 3 toilets and also the garden pipe (yes, the water supply to the garden is coming from the tank for my house instead of direct).

The result was fantastic and it cost me RM300 rclxms.gif only. Scope of works incl:

2 pcs of one way spring loaded brass valve,
T joints
high quality PVC pipes

The work took 4 hours to complete incl waiting for the glue at joint area to completely dried up and testing as well. Now am enjoying my daily rain shower and the garden tap pressure is strong enuff so much so i dun need to use water jet pump to wash my car. In addition, i dun use any electricity... rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

Why the plumber never advise such a problem will arise if want to bypass? Can't blame on the owner with less experience.

Well, the bypass is not actually 100% bypass as u can see in the pic there's the spring loaded one way valve which actually allows the water from the tank to flow out to the toilets @ bathrooms doh.gif upstairs. This is to ensure if there's no water supply, the toilets @ bathrooms still has water supply from the tank thumbup.gif .

The toilet downstair which is frequently being used as well gets its supply direct from the tank. Furthermore the tank comes equipped with a drain valve in case for washing the tank.
