Anybody know how to DIY service the CM5-4PT diagphram pressure tank? Like how to pump air in and to what pressure?
Plan to DIY maintain my Grundfos pump.

QUOTE(zheilwane @ Feb 23 2017, 12:46 PM) 1) Turn off incoming water and electricity. Thanks. Just need a bit more info, do you know the steps to fill up the tank? Can use like a mini air compressor or a bicycle tire pump?2) Turn on a tap to release pressure and make sure pressure gauge drop to 0 3) Pump in 22 psi into the pressure tank 4) open back the incoming water supply 5) Turn back on the electricity |

QUOTE(zheilwane @ Feb 23 2017, 11:12 PM) It worked I managed to charge the tank with a bicycle pump. I followed the instruction on the tank itself. Bleed the water inside the tank by turning off the water inlet to the pump. Then I check the pressure it was 20psi only. Following that, I charged it up to 0.9 X cut in pressure for CM5-4PT which was 26psi as per the Grundfos technical manual. Very simple and easy to do. |
