hi, i want to install pump to my house too. I understand that the water pump will be installed after my water tank, so does this mean my kitchen water (which is from main water supply) will not have the water pressure from the pump?? My main water pressure is not very strong too actually, so will take time for my water tank to fill up.

Option 1 : Add 1 tank at ground flood and install a pump here as well, this will boost your kitchen pressure and fill up the tank above faster.
Disadvantage : Waste space and extra pump $$.

Option 2 : Do an external piping from the pump sbove your roof to your kitchen.
Disadvantage : Some customers think it is not hygienic . .

We are having SALES for Grundfos in-conjunction with our POST-EXHIBITION SALES on 14 and 15 Oct (2 days only). We are not allowed to quote prices online and through phone, offer price is only for walk-in customers.

By paying to right person of about rm10-20, you can easily increase the supply pressure.

it is like a all for 1 pump, negative suction, main suction and etc etc. For standard installation, install next to water tank, actually there is no need for scala2, the regular CM-PM is already sufficient.

Don miss out our Post Exhibition Sales 14 - 15 Oct (2 days only). We are not allowed to post any pricing online or quote prices through phone. All special prices only for walk in customers

I dont know if this is the correct thread..but i would like to ask, is it safe to use a booster pump?..since mostly i notice comes without ELCB if im not mistaken, unlike our bathroom water heater..feels like very dangerous..what will happen if the motor comes in contact with the water if the seal inside start to leak?..

No need to PMlar, you just need to pay the money to the water technician to adjust the incoming valve, just before th meter. Or use allen wrench also can, FOC some more.
*
dont think it's allen wrench.
i just tried to adjust mine. seemed to be pentagon shaped instead of hex.
will try take a picture.

Problem is, who can we contact to get it adjusted the properly?

The water technician. Indeed it is pentagon type, but heard can use the normal allen wrench, just a bit troublesome.
*
It is Allen key. But in inch size.

I don't remember anymore.

I don't have the inch size allen key too. So I use mm size to poke into it. The allen key slighty bigger size. I knock it in and turn.

I have a set of allen key. So just try the 1 best fit.

But strange is, the syabas dismantle it away when they repair the broken pipe. Now my piping without that valve anymore.

But why going to adjust it? That valve is either open or close. Not adjust for slow or fast flow.

You sure you wan PT? PT = pressure tank = need pump air once a year.
*
I noticed the UNI-E models also have a pressure tank. If we don't want this maintenance issue (pump air once a year) but yet want the VSD feature, can we order UNI-E without the tank?

nope cant do so. Actually even i m only using CM 5-4pm1, dont wanna maintenance, so far so good, dont really need the VSD

unless big houses with lots of bathrooms then UNI E is the best choice

Hi, My new house 2 half storey semi d c/w solar from developer.

1bathroom lvl 2
3 bathroom lvl 1
1 bathroom lvl g

All running water from tangki above lvl 2. Most of my friend told me solar will have pump but i checked mine is without. So thinking to install a grundfos pump for 2 rainshower n 2 normal shower. How many HPs should i install?

And direct water pressure should be around 2-3bar .should i also install a pump outside ?

Have so much money buy a big house, what is that spending another some for a pump?
Keep the joke aside, considering the elevation, I'm sure your level 2 bathroom sure will have low water pressure problem.
If want maintenance free higher pressure water supply, you can use direct piping from the main(after filter for sure), else install a water pump just for bathrooms.
*
Haha good one. I think all will be using from tangki instead of direct. Just need info of how many HPs to use as i heard too high HPs will cause hose to crack n can't last long.

Well, you need some special type switches, multiple pole single throw switch/relay to turn on/off the power to the pump.
This will prevent to over pressure the piping.
*
This is something that i have to learn then... will try to talk to the contractor bout it.
