QUOTE(SGSuser @ Apr 7 2011, 05:09 AM) Carrick and Gibbo are shite mah, according to him.I wonder, what are on his mind now that Carrick made that excellent long pass to Giggsy and placed beautifully by Rooney. Or how, Carrick chased back Drogba and got a foul of him? He was immense tonight. Him, Giggsy and Edwin. This post has been edited by boxsystem: Apr 7 2011, 05:17 AM |

QUOTE(beck_ken @ Apr 8 2011, 12:19 AM) agreed. may be 1 or 2 will be in...the most obvious will be Hargreaves's replacement. Hargreaves and might be Scholesy. He is still not agreeing to an extension.other than that, we need a cover for RB too cuz Brown and O Shea are aging..... QUOTE(fr4g*st3r @ Apr 8 2011, 10:24 AM) No sir. You are wrong. These reputable powerful managers that we have inside this thread thinks that Bebe and Obertan are nowhere near United's quality. We should buy <insert-names>. |

Reputable managers inside this thread are hard to please. 2-nil win over Fulham pun whine left, right and center. Games are coming fast and thick for us. Unlike Chelsea and Arsenal, we are still competing in all fronts except Carling Cup.
Bear in mind, Chelsea is next, even at OT, the tie is not finished. And United has to face noisy neighbors next in FA Cup match. What's wrong with having 2-nil lead and try to conserve some energy plus avoid injuries to players? Every match also need to win 4 or 5 nil kah? Added on April 10, 2011, 12:09 am QUOTE(kiasunkiasi @ Apr 10 2011, 12:08 AM) I think 3 should be enough. And a draw with Arsenal at their turf. This post has been edited by boxsystem: Apr 10 2011, 12:09 AM |

QUOTE(sHsIkuA @ Apr 10 2011, 12:24 AM) I would say the other way around. Win over Citeh and we're in the finals. And possible medal for Edwin. The only medal that he didn't won with us or ever, I think. Besides, UCL is still far off from the finals. Even if we win over Chelsea, there's Schalke waiting. |

QUOTE(Zen-X @ Apr 10 2011, 03:09 AM) More concern with his ability in gathering the ball from crosses or long shots. A few times, he spilled the ball back. He is indeed lucky. Generally, he did ok.Added on April 10, 2011, 7:12 am QUOTE(nazq @ Apr 10 2011, 02:46 AM) Well even SAF himself didn't too impressed with the win. Boss pleased with the pointsSoccernet Nah, 3 pts is already in the bag. Time for next game right now. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features...the-points.aspx QUOTE Sir Alex Ferguson was pleased with the result if not the performance after Manchester United’s 2-0 victory against Fulham on Saturday afternoon. Both the Reds’ goals – one from Dimitar Berbatov, one from Antonio Valencia – came in an entertaining first half, but the second period lacked drama as both teams took their foot off the gas. “We were a bit casual and lackadaisical in all departments of the team, apart from our two centre-backs who were very good,” Sir Alex said. “In the first half there was some very good football and we could maybe have scored a couple more. But in the second half we became wasteful in our possession. “We could have suffered because of that and on another day we may have done. But we got through it and that’s important. At this stage of the season winning is the name of the game. Three points was always going to be the aim against a Fulham side with the worst away record in the league. Even so, the visitors were no pushovers and actually started the game brightest. “If you look at their team they very seldom make changes. It’s normally the same XI every week – that gives them consistency and organisation and they can be hard to break down.” In the end, United’s two goals were enough to seal victory and send United 10 points clear of nearest rivals Arsenal. Just as pleasing for the manager, however, was the number of players he now has at his disposal as the Reds chase glory in three different competitions. Indeed, Sir Alex made eight changes for the game against Fulham and will no doubt shuffle his pack again for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Chelsea. “I have to trust the squad,” he said. “Anderson needed a game, Berbatov needed a game, Scholesy needed a game, John O’Shea needed a game badly – he’s been out with a hamstring injury and he’s come through well. “When you know the players and you’re playing at home, no matter what team you put out you expect something from them. I think I picked the right team to win today. “Players are coming back. Wes Brown’s back, Rafael should be okay for Tuesday. Valencia’s back… that gives us a heck of a boost.” This post has been edited by boxsystem: Apr 10 2011, 07:12 AM |
