Not often can post on the 1st page of the thread. Wow! After last night match I hope the lads will face the Blues with a calm head and try to play smart. We had way too many unfair treatment at the Bridge and we definitely need to play hard and smart.

I think this victory at the bridge not only boost the chance of advancing into the semi final, but also raise the morale among the lads coz we don't always win here. This time we got an away goal plus the superb clean sheet. Despite the controversial penalty kick claim, the lads really bring a hard fought victory back to Old Trafford.

Ahhh, Drogba's goal gave me the nervy moment but it didn't last long (1min?). Good that Park reacted so fast and calm my little heart down with that sublime finish!! After that can see the Blues had totally collapsed. Oh well, if they had opted for Drogba in the first eleven... Giggs is GODLIKE with his 2nd assist of the night. Given the opportunity to show his value, but Berbatov couldn't score, again. The whole team looks like lack of spirit to run and attack. No leader on the field. Nani looks like a player who can fall down anytime, and not dare to attack when the team is not leading. No movement, no midfield power, no inspiration. And to make it worse, committed 3 consecutive mistakes which lead to a cheap goal. That is just fxxking unacceptable. Rooney must be banging his head to his multi-million mansion to remind himself not to swear again. Or, at least, not to the camera. Now I'm sure Scholes will retire at the end of this season.

Scholes deserved that red card, and he himself also expected it. You can see from his reaction. That tackle was never aim at the ball when you view the slow-mo replay. He just lost idea and wanna retire from the game earlier I guess. When the team needs everyone to work hard for the equaliser, there go his super tackle again. The team needs some big time player for situation like this, someone like Ronaldo and Rooney, who can single handedly turn the game around. Not to forget the killer pass from Giggs. Too bad, there was none in today squad. Not Nani.

QUOTE(verbatim @ Apr 17 2011, 02:45 AM) Trust me, they will just lay down and let Arsenal to gang bang them tmrw.. That reminds me of last season game between Liverpool and Chelsea at Anfield, where Gerrard *gifted* them the opening goal. Shall history repeat themselves tomorrow? We'll see.
