Hey guys... I feel like I cannot keep the phone on for more that 72 hours continuously.
I'm using Galaxy SII, G version. Currently everything original (no custom rom/kernel) I believe that most of Android phones have the same problem. After 50 hours++ of up time of the phone (I mean the phone keeps on for 50 hours), The phone will become noticeable lag, but just a bit, not too much. One of the best evidence is in the game Fruit Ninja. I will feel the lag everytime I slash the fruit. I'm sure that most apps is closed (except background apps like samsung keypad) and my battery usage graph is in straight horizontal line (without any optimize software, only with BetterBatteryStats). Only 500 - 600MB of RAM is used and I think this is normal. After I restart the phone, the phone will become smooth and the RAM will be 300 - 400MB used only. Others do not show any difference. And sure, the phone will repeat the same problem after some hours. I wish I can keep the phone on continuously and no need to restart it frequently just like normal phones. Can someone share some experience about this? Is there any solution for this? Or this is the nature of Android? Can Custom ROM solve this? Well I installed Memory Booster as my first experiment to solve this problem, though it will drain my juice a lot... I hope it isn't hardware compatibility issue. QUOTE(danielcmugen @ Jan 27 2012, 10:00 PM) Sure can, just search in android market I had asked at that thread before. But none of them reply my question. Most of them are using non-G version. I'm buying the SE Xperia Arc S and many say the 320 usable internal memory is a problem for installing apps because some apps must be installed at internal memory.
This can be solved with the App2SD app, right? |

This will be my first Android device so I'd like to be as careful as possible. Would you say that 320MB is enough for average use(using App2SD, of course)? I'm not going to install nearly a hundred apps or something like that. Maybe around 30. |

QUOTE(thexs @ Jan 28 2012, 11:43 AM) Thanks for the reply. depends on how large these apps are gonna be, i would say yeah it should be sufficient if you're talking about 30 apps roughly but again, that depends on the size. 320mb is approximately about the same amount (or slightly more) than what i have on my nexus one, i need more than that but that's because i have lots of stuff on my phone. if you want a lot more then i would recommend getting galaxy S II instead or galaxy W (although the W and other samsung phones has its own share of limitations and 3 different storage types causing some other different headaches entirely)...This will be my first Android device so I'd like to be as careful as possible. SGSII is a bit too much for my budget and IINM, the Galaxy W will not be getting an official ICS update. Well, thanks for your replies, I think I won't have to be worrying too much then. |

Guys, pardon my question. Just got my 1st android. I switch from a ios. So im not very familiar with the song transfer, What i did was transfer the playlist, into a folder, then made it into the playlist in the phone music player. But the problem is, the sequence of the song do not go in the sequence like in itunes, Its arranged alphabetically. Its quite annoying esp when u listen live song, the song is continuously playing, but now its not. Can anyone teach me how do i arrange it by album instead of alphabetically?
forgot to add, im using a huawei honor. version 2.3.6 This post has been edited by Shawnzz: Jan 29 2012, 01:25 AM |

ok, got 1 more problem here., I think its a bug. I tried a few sms software, chomp sms, go pro sms, handsent sms. But the problem is, the sms notification still pops out on the lock screen. Everytime i slide to read the sms, it seems its the prevous sms, The phone can't detect that the new sms has already been read. Anyone has this problem on 3rd party sms software?
