I am using Lenovo A850+.

My phone is misbehaving.
Apps won't appear, and everytime i manage to use apps, it quits and brought me to homepage.

how to rectify this?
EDIT: Android version is 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)

Basically all apps.
The phone hangs, and error messages like Lenovo Launcher is not responding.

I switched on Data Plan (active), but it mentions that I am not connected to the Internet.

I am at wits end now, and really appreciate any advise I could get.

I have tried to do that, but to no avail.
The phone just won't proceed further.

Anyways, I managed to solve the problem.

I re-download the SecureIT software, and it seems that the problem is now resolved.
It could be that the updates was halfway thru went the Internet connectivity lost, and that it is not downloaded fully.

My kids play Android mobile/tablet with a time limit. Unfortunately, they tend to forget the time when they are too into the games/FB chit chatting etc.

Like to know whether there is an apps which will start the countdown (when the mobile/tablet is switched on) to the specified time limit and then give an alarm?

There is an alarm clock in Android but this is not easy to use for my kids and one has to set and start the countdown.

For a tablet with call function, if I did not insert a sim card, can I still use it for it's android function using wifi? For example, browsing the internet and play games?

Seems like the apps was in the midst of installation, and since it stopped halfway, the whole phone malfunction.

Any suggestions on how to rid of these bloatwares ?

Thanks for the reply. Most of the time when I want to watch stuff from my PC on the big screen, I hook my laptop to the TV via the HDMI cable. I am not sure if the chromecast can do that? Use it as a local streaming device.

I did try Steam stream service from my laptop to main PC. It works, most of the time, however there is lag. The laptop itself can function well without the stream service as it has a discrete graphics card, though not as powerful as the PC.

I was thinking something like the Intel NUC or Intel compute on a stick. Install android launcher like bluestacks and control it remotely. That way I can use both PC and android if I need to.

wondering anyone know whether we can recover back internal storage after accidently did factory reset? was googling for some and i got Easesus, Recuva and other suspiciously named recovery program.

Just want to check if it is normal for google play to take a few hours to update 7 or 8 apps. Some new
app can be installed in less than 1 min so why so long to update? It is not due to my connection speed

Hi, I've recently rooted a SG S3 and tried to install a custom rom. However when I install my custom using CWM ver6.0.3 , it ran half way and display a error status 7. Anybody can help?

Alright, the bloatware in my Lenovo is misbehaving.

1 application, I think it is the antivirus, is now in Chinese!
That, and it has now started blocking incoming calls as well as messages.

How do I either change it back to English, and/or
to remove this blardy app from my phone ?

My friends galaxy young sim card, when I put my celcom sim card and use it, it no longer can recognize all other sim card, even new one. I can use my 3 celcom number in it though.

My friend say this ususally happens to cheap phone. How to rectify this situation? Factory reset, flashing using odin malaysian rom don't work.

Just bought a new level entry 7" tab, Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30HC. This unit came with the KitKat 4.4.2. Basically this is fine unit but the only issue I am having with this unit is unable to notify me during the idle time.  Be it whatsapp, messenger or maybe others as well.

I'll have my messages when I click the app, otherwise nothing appears. Whatsapp itself is running at the background and I already put it under the whitelist. My only suspect is WLAN, in the setting to keep it always running  during sleep doesn't work. The coming messages failed to awake the notification in real-time.

Googling doesn't help much especially for this model, hoping some of us here able to give some suggestion on how to solve it. Thanks

quoting back my previous post, managed to solved it but I am not very sure which action actually did it 
1. In whatsapp itself I am set notification to pop up only when screen is off from always show popup.
2. In Security HD, gave permission to whatsapp to wake WLAN.
3. Installed Nova launcher and TeslaUnread, activate Whatsapp from the Notification Bar Watcher.

Hi guys, so the power button on my Asus Fonepad 7 has malfunction. So I'm wondering is there a way I can restart the phone somehow without the power button? Don't have root on the device btw, and rooting it now is out of the question without a power button.

So far I use a powerbank to wake it so that I can use it. But it won't go to sleep even when the screen is off, so I thought maybe rebooting will help. But can't reboot without a power button so far. Last resort I guess is to let the battery run down to 0%. But just wondering if there is another way?
