For existing cardholders, whose credit card outstanding balance exceeds the maximum credit limit, a grace period of two years will be given to them to meet with the new requirement.

It means he probably has spent at least RM36k using his HSBC credit card as you need 36,000 Rewards Points to redeem 3x RM50 Giant vouchers from HSBC.
3k in one month, rm750 in one week, rm107 in one day ?! that's a lot for me tongue.gif

YES ... YES ... YES !!! Called OCBC just a few minutes ago. Found out my Titanium MasterCard is approved  rclxm9.gif  I applied the card through email this time around. The application form was emailed to them on last Thursday night (24 Mar 2011), it was put into the system on the next day morning. Now it is approved. Looks like it took just two working days for them to process my application  thumbup.gif

mbb 2 card give u 5% rebate on weekend instantly at the end of the month. that 2.5% rebate is the conversion of the points (5X) u collected. So u will get 7.5% rebate in total if u spend on weekend (spend rm100 on weekend will get u rm5 rebate and 500 points which is equal to 2.5% rebate)

only the Maybankard 2 American Express earns you 5X Treats Points and 5% cash back on weekends (capped at RM50/month. The Visa only reward you 1X TP.

If the night club you go to don't accept AMEX, that that place "che-kai" one hahaha. The high class ones,  RM100K also can if you got credit  tongue.gif
gerrardling, I know you meant respect when you say uncle  wink.gif  BUT can you please make me happy and feel younger by calling me Bro  blush.gif Or you purposely call me UNCLE  blink.gif
If you really spend a lot and want only cash back, then get American Express Charge Card and enroll into turbo points and get 3X Membership Rewards Points where you can redeem unlimited cash back equivalent to 1.5%. But seriously, do check out the MBB 2 AMEX which gives you equivalent to 5X reward points where you can redeem for vouchers equivalent to 2.5%, that's 1.5% more than HLB 1%. Or if you shop in 1U, can redeem Treats Points like cash with RCUBED. Go read the link gerradling posted to my blog.

**EDITED**

And did you know that the HLB Fortune is also game over when you reach maximum cap cash back RM50/month tongue.gif  You only get extra bonus when you spend RM38K or more per year.

**End of Edited portion
For your easy reference, and also for those who too lazy to go do a search on HLB Fortune, click below link to my post at my blog to see comparison to Maybankard 2 American Express cards.

Click here to read about HLB Fortune Visa Cash Back versus Maybankard 2 American Express and OCBC Titanium MasterCard.
To All: Check out my lastest post at my blog on EON Bank Platinum MasterCard which now gives you unlimited access to KLIA, LCCT, Senai and Changi Singapore Plaza Premium Lounge until 31 Dec 2011. Also EON Bank got 50% cash back contest for 20 winners weekly and capped at RM100  doh.gif I just registered for it and cost me RM0.30  mad.gif Hate this stupid sms thingy.

Click here to read about EON Bank Platinum MasterCard.
