I would want the lady to pay the price for giving misleading information.
If we consumers don't do this, there will be more and more irresponsible people around. This is for the sake of public.

i dont trust those agents. better do a research by urself. i prefer to apply cards by faxing them application or go to branch, but not through agents.

I doubt it that they'll give you reason/reasons for being unsuccessful tho it amazes me that although my standings were way beyond their minimum requirements, yet it still got rejected.

Surprisingly, Maybank didn't see anything wrong with requirements and got my M2 AMEX/VISA application approved and I have received the cards earlier this week.

apply using existing cc ? how much is the CL ?

The M2 AMEX/VISA were the first CCs that I got mate. First time CC user here.... tongue.gif
*
then it will be a bit hard even though u meet their requirement coz i can see they prefer to approve those with existing cc with high credit limit as they can check their record

I have just received a mailer from Citibank Shell card, apparently they are claiming that they are offering "MORE" rebates to customer....

Yes, they do give more rebates, but the rebates are only applicable to SHELL PURCHASES. OTHER purchases can help to push ur rebate tier higher but not entitle for rebate. Arrghhhh I think I wanna re-consider about the card already!!

Any credit card that offers a good rebate scheme?

dont go for shell card, for petrol, ocbc titanium and mbb 2 cards is much better

Thanks for info, in fact i am thinking of cancelling the citi-shell card, coz my monthly petrol transaction is normally less than 100, while my other retail spending could go up to few thousand, so this card is consider useless for me. Coz I only get a very limited rebate with no points.

Argghhhh But one thing good with citibank is that they have a lot promo with the merchant tongue.gif So I might be considering to change to another different citi card or cancel them all together.

get clear card or platinum cashback card. other cards are rubbish

I like to hear from your experience. How many days does a bank need to process credit card balance transfer application? I am thinking of doing balance transfer into my OCBC Titanium card from Citi card to enjoy the 0% interest for 6 months.

I want to make sure the balance transfer is completed before the payment due date of Citi card.
*
why not BT to cimb or pbb credit card ? i am not sure for OCBC but pbb and cimb takes less than 1 week to approve and make payment

Because there are other cards that are better than it. Besides, i am going to help my mom to apply the Maybankard 2 for her next month when the Maybankard 2 MasterCard comes out. We'll be able to save RM1200/pa from using Maybankard 2 AMEX alone  rclxms.gif

By the way, has anyone ever redeemed your shopping voucher at those on-the-spot outlets using your Maybank credit card ? How is it done ? Do we need a PIN or something ?

but mbb2 card cap at rm50 for the rebate. CBP might help u to get more rebate, unless u got OCBC titanium, then u can throw CBP into dustbin tongue.gif

The maximum credit limit extended to a cardholder shall not exceed two times their monthly income per issuer.

For existing cardholders, whose credit card outstanding balance exceeds the maximum credit limit, a grace period of two years will be given to them to meet with the new requirement.

then those earning less than 3k per month surely quit their job and find a new job already. how about those who earned more than 3k per month after changed their job ?
