No lah ... I am rather fussy about my credit cards. I keep my expectations realistic and low, that's all.

The CIMB card promoter whom I spoke to got very careful just now because I am able to point out mistakes and features of the card product that the person is not even aware of. Promoter even tried to make comparison to other bank cc products as well (and make their own product look good) but I knew the cons of their own card product as well vs. other banks.

Can anybody recommend how to reduce my toll expense? I am a frequent user of Kerinchi Link / Sprint highway. Monthly usage between RM50 to RM80.
I tried touchngo website but the rebate's only for LDP users. Plusmiles also no good. Any other ways?
Also, can I reload touchngo using MBB2 Amex, or OCBC Titanium? Hope to get rebate from my reload too.

Thanks. But is there any loyalty card that I can use? Feel left out that LDP and PLUS users can get rebate but SPRINT users don't.

Why enable a loophole for credit card fraud?

EVERY now and then, credit card fraud grabs the headlines in our local dailies. One can conclude that more often than not, it is an inside job.

Be it the postman, bank staff, national registration department staff, credit card accepting merchants’ staff and even bosses, professionalism and individual credibility have been compromised.

But who is to blame? The credit card issuing companies have provided an alternative route to fraud.

I have noted for some time now that when one shops online, one is assured of security when accessing “https:” sites, as claimed by IT experts.

When the credit card security number, or “CVC” number, is requested online, one is assured that it will not be compromised.

However, when one is performing a credit card transaction over the phone, the customer service staff will also insist on the CVC number being given, or the transaction cannot be completed.

When I checked with the banks, they replied that this had been agreed upon between banks and their respective merchants.

When I pointed out that this was like giving a blank cheque to the merchants, the bank’s staff repeated the “bank-merchant agreement” line.

To summarise, one is advised by banks not to divulge the CVC number freely to third parties but we are forced to give the CVC number to a customer service staff over the phone.

Simply put, if you don't trust the merchant enough, don't give them your credit card details. This applies whether online or physical transaction.

Generally speaking, your odds are better with an online transaction (except for fraudulent sites) than physical. Fraud is more likely to occur especially when card is out of your sight.

I know some say u can call their customer service to demand waiving of annual fee, izzit applicable for platinum card also?

My MBB2 card been having inaccurate TPs. The CS told me they having problem with the system for TP but it happen twice already now. Anybody having the same problem too? I don't want to keep calling as I might get myself confused too.
