Hi friends, According to this classifieds from the below address: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1304933a contractor name Wai Teong provides flat board = RM 2.10 per sqf double step = Rm 13 per sqf L.box = RM 10 I am looking for feedback from customers that have engaged Wai Teong to do plaster ceiling... How is his workmanship? the flat board used is thick or soft? etc... the price is very cheap but afraid quality not good... thanks |

You are right, the price is cheap but not by very much. Why don't you give him a call and ask to be shown some of the work he is currently doing. Then you can assess his workmanship and quality. Of course after that you feedback in here to share!

My suggestion is make your own design or decide what you want in first place, than only engage them. I personally have face with them but maybe I didn't put the stand what I want, which make the costing a bit different compared to other contractor. they will quote what you want instead given you the idea. One thing you need to remember is asking the price to include cut the downlight hole or FOC...  But I just like you, have not finallize yet as I need to wait till my house renovation done and have to make another round of estimation... |

I engaged a plaster ceiling contractor and given the extension of my living room, I looked for the contractor to suggest me design of plaster ceiling to cover the beam and still maintain high ceiling.
The price he quoted is on the high side, RM2.80 psf. He claimed he is using thick alu frame. 1.5 ft apart. I went with him since he is recommended. He did a good job.
The other was like selling plaster ceiling, hardly any creative design. Price was RM2.70psf.
Many can do plaster ceiling, go for quality workmanship and not price alone.
