Lenses for (DX/FX) <- state that lens for DX or FX Ultra Wide - 16-35mm F4 FX Lens Wide - Mid range - Tele - 70-200mm F2.8 FX Lens Prime - 35mm F2 FX Lens Casual (Street photography) - Photo Shooting - I think these lens should cost around 10k plus, and can be multi purpose usage |

QUOTE(elainor @ Apr 17 2011, 11:44 PM) u mean crop factor on lenses and the dslr as well? for what i mean is the matter of dslr body. Cause the lens is for fx... Correct me if im wrong =) my recommendation for your needs is to get the 16-35mm lens. since you mentioned you like to get a walkabout lens as well as to take some landscape and food pics. the best option is to get the 16-35 F4. It has VR and it's good for using it now on your d7k as a walkabout as well as landscape lens. the 14-24 is a great lens but it's heavier as well as not being able to put your nd, cpl filter on it, unless you use those expensive lee filters la Added on April 17, 2011, 11:47 pmJust say that i would like to get a walkabout lens =) |

QUOTE(Bliz @ Apr 18 2011, 01:55 PM) No wonder u ask me bring telephotos to travel la, D700+BG+70-200 very big weight diff compared to D7000+BG+70-300vr gear very heavy is like that lo. nowadays i go out also take out the BG and just use the 50 1.4G for street photography & walkabout lens. too heavy the shoulders can die wei..btw, any tripod to recommend ? got to upgrade mine already cos gears too heavy now. |

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Apr 20 2011, 07:31 AM) BKT means u take the same pic but all with different exposure, then go back to the PC to combine the pics to make it into HDR QUOTE(razuryza @ Apr 20 2011, 07:36 AM) yeah the d5100 has the inbuilt HDR function but i dont know how that works. whether u take min. of 3 shots and camera will auto process it for you or one raw format file is sufficient to do the hdr function. |
