One is for DX and one is for FX.
Actually you can also use the DX 35mm f/1.8 lens on FX body but you'd get heavy vignetting.

I took this at ISO2000 on my D90, what do you think?
Like Andy214 said, if your exposure is spot on, don't be afraid to use high ISO. If you use low ISO and you underexpose, you'll still get ugly noise.

Cannot simply hantam-hantam. shakehead.gif

How's the performance of Tokina 12-24 f4? Compared to Nikkor 12-24? hmm.gif

Wanna get an UWA to replace my 17-50. 11-16 is too short I think.
The Nikon is better in terms of colour and saturation. But better yet would be to go for the Nikon 10-24. It's better than the Nikon 12-24.

Man... siggy 30mm 1.4 Poisoned me rclxub.gif
My Siggy has been sitting and not getting used. It used to be permanently on my D40x.

QUOTE(faareast @ Apr 7 2011, 04:45 AM)
Q: 12-24 can be use for FX body right?
It's a DX only lens. Technical you can use on FX but if I'm not wrong, you can only use like from 18-24.

And siggy 30mm is a DX lens sleep.gif
Why? If you're using an FX body, then I can understand. Aren't you still using a DX body?

Guys, wanna ask also, how do i know the camera is which of the above? which one is good? Local set?
because i want to buy nikon d7000 and i got one shop and he selling it at RM4100, wondering also does it cheap means its grey set cause im asking him, he said is malaysia warranty, how im gonna make sure its not 2nd hand item? and is there other method than check the SC? and give me the tips of list check when buy new dslr camera..

Thanks
If you suspect the DSLR is a display unit or 2nd hand, bring your laptop with card reader. Have something like Opanda Exif installed that is able to view EXIF data of the JPG file. Shoot one JPG from the camera and upload to camera. Check the EXIF and the shutter count data should be there.

You look down on a DX lens but not a DX body? doh.gif

if I am not mistaken nissin di866 has more power than SB-900. I saw it on 1 website. when I did research regarding nissin.
Power alone is nothing without control.

My personal opinion.
Take it or leave it. I feel it sucks because it can't do what I want ma.
You can choose not to read that as well.
If you want to be on an online forum and participate, do others here a favour and give correct information. If not, better to not to log in than logging in and be a nuisance to the forum community. Good information is one thing, misinformation is another.

So you think your information are 100% correct? While people talking about metering some people talking about focusing / focus point doh.gif
This information VERY VERY ACCURATE .
That's correct. But there is a difference actually. I apologised when I found I was referring to the wrong thing.
