hey guys, long time didnt lurk around here...

I plan to let go my kitty and 35mm f/1.8 and im thinking to get a 17-55 f/2.8...

any comments on the lens? Planning to upgrade to fx in the future if d800 release...

the object is the tree... yea indeed the construction sign was really annoying... if i crop it out... the whole pic will like doesnt make any sense...

Ok sure think too bad it's raining that day =( if not will stay there even longer. But hey, I just live like blocks away from my uni. I hunt this spot for half an hour... I tried to move the sign away but the sign actually temporarily screw on the floor... Bad luck I guess... Will try harder next time

now im thinking to whether get a 14-24 or 16-35. Is it a huge difference between 16 and 18mm in terms of wideness. Kitty lens and dx lens no longer my preference...

Hey guys, really need some suggestion on either to get a 16-35mm f/4 or an uwa like 14-24. I would like to get something that could shoot for landscape and minor food photog. But if i get a 16-35mm, i guess it will be useless on a dx dslr since they got crop factor but im planning to upgrade to fx in the future like probably when d800 release. So which lens should i go for? Thanks!

u mean crop factor on lenses and the dslr as well? for what i mean is the matter of dslr body. Cause the lens is for fx... Correct me if im wrong =)

So far no vignetting issues when i pair up my d7k with the 70-200mm. Im not sure bout other fx lenses.

Now the lens in my mind are, 11-16 tokina f/2.8, 16-35mmf/4, 14-24mm f/2.8

What would i want to shoot? Walkabout lens, landscape and some food photog or model figures like danbo.

Budget wise around rm5k wouldnt mind top up a lil bit.

Just tried my friends sirui t2205... The build quality is kinda good... Stable with d7000 batt grip, 70-200mm vr2 and sb700... Like a trooper of tripod... 12kg max weight, cf build. Cannot than the poison so I decided to get one. Price around rm1k include shipping...

Anyone who own 16-35mm f/4 could post some landscape pic or maybe others like bokehness or indoor pictures but I wouldn't expect much of bokeh cause it is a f/4... Thanks a lot! Time for some poison

@razuryza:woosh sharp from edge to edge... If Im using dx I should times 1.5 rite? So it will be 24-50mm? Is there any food photography for this lense? I will like to see how creamy the bokeh is thanks! Is this ur walkabout lens?? Thanks for the awesome pictures!!
