D5100 same sensor as D7000 right? I remember previously some website was comparing D7000 against the D700, D3s and D300s. At 25600 D7000 has the best output (even better than the mighty D3s). Hmm.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 6 2011, 09:15 AM)
If a 16.2MP crop sensor can do this, a 16.2MP FX sensor will do it much better biggrin.gif. Getting really interesting! Imagine if you are able to shoot at 12800 like what FX users are doing with 3200 iso now tongue.gif.
*
this is true indeed. saw some pics at some flickr thatthe D7k's ISO performance is almost on par with the D700. so nikon must work on the D800 to be better than any of these. this is interesting. just like u said. oh nikon, pls put me out of my misery and show me the D800! laugh.gif

Do you record video lot?  tongue.gif (No offense just asking)

Nikon D5100 is 1920x1080 @ 30 fps.
Swivel LCD screen
Cheaper

Is a good and cheaper choice for those video photographer compared to D7000.

Yes not much diff. But you know Swivel LCD help alot in video recording. =)
*
may i ask how much cheaper will it be compared to D7000? thinking of getting one D7000 for a DX nikon camera..still under consideration hmm.gif

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Apr 6 2011, 02:33 PM)
And also the in-camera HDR feature  tongue.gif
Still no in-camera panorama feature yet.

Btw, anybody care to share what's the rough price range for 105mm AF-S Micro Nikkor?
*
