So far no vignetting issues when i pair up my d7k with the 70-200mm. Im not sure bout other fx lenses.

QUOTE(scotty @ Apr 18 2011, 12:01 AM)
if 70-200 vr2 still got vignette on dx body, your lens got prob liao smile.gif or they put a medium format sensor on your body. smile.gif

anyway, go for 14-24. very good and sharp lens
*
wait i thought 70-200 is FX lens? unsure.gif

worth to get it ah bro ? where can i get it bro  drool.gif
*
depend how you wan to shoot and yeah depend on you.
since this lens got auto-focus so it is worth for D3100 unless you gonna change midrange body soon like D7k/D90/D70s/D80 etc. (or FF? drool.gif )

for me it is quite cool since the minimum focus range is shorter than 50mm f/1.8D, means i can go nearer to shoot my figure. brows.gif

i got it from SS14, PJ... Miami shop that opposite TGIF, near the digital mall there. other shop quote me expensive a bit... J-one etc shop maybe quote me the price expensive a bit but maybe you can nego the price... laugh.gif

you use low shutter speed?

Btw the shop you mentioned any idea how to go by public transport?

I going to get my d7k tomoro.
*
ya, all of that are night scene...><

how to make it sharp? boost up iso at the same time smaller aperture and faster shutter speed? unsure.gif icon_question.gif

public transport ar... err... i know if you take LRT to Asia Jaya... then go to millennium square... in front of that got a free shutter van can go to digital mall or you can walk to there...short distance only...err around 20 minutes...

google map here

why u said that? those mid range body also dx one mah hmm.gif
*
my point is auto-focus in body la tongue.gif
only mid-range or above got auto-focus in body so you can play older lens like 50mm f/1.8D...if not then you play manual focus lor haha.

35mm f1.8 on f7k no good meh  brows.gif
going to buy one soon  thumbup.gif
*
aiyoyo ...my point is ... if you are struggle about 50mm f/1.8D and 35mm f/1.8G

if you use 50mm f/1.8D on D3100 or D5100/5000 then you had to manual focus since there is no auto-focus on that lens and body....

if you use 35mm f/1.8G lens (newer lens) then no need worry use what body haha. tongue.gif
