shake no problem to just undim at sensitivity 5, very less use sleep n home button now, all use activator n shake2unlock to wake phone out from sleep/standby

sorry i misread, i did not use the ishakelock, but the 99 cent shaketounlock which has the shake to undim and shake sensitivity option

tried the ishakelock before and shake to unlock from sleep doesnt work, this shaketounlock works

before this purchase, this is the only part where i have to use my home button

if im not mistaken, its the duration for the phone to be idle without movement before u can start shaking it for the gesture to be captured as valid shake

i may be wrong, im settin it at 2 sec

setting it just to undim(wake phone to unlock screen) can prevent accidental unlock , i dont set it to direct unlock, plus if accidently activate it to wake my phone out from sleep, it can go back to sleep/standy mode in few seconds..

maybe u need to adjust the sensitivity level in not to shake too hard, i set to single shake only with sensitivity 5, quite ok for me

yea it consume bit more battery as what was mention in the apps desxription in cydia, but not much i think, but i dont think it got my phone any hotter though...

a noob question,

can i use redsnow rc16 to jb to other ver of ios, for example 4.2.1. 4.3.1 or 4.3.2

or is it each redsnow release is only meant for the specific ios ver, example, rc15-16 is for 4.3.3, rc 12 13 n 14 for 4.3.2... and so on..

just want a clarification.. thx

guys, my brother just purchased a i3gs locked us set current running ios 4.3.3 with modem firmware 06.15.00 unlock using ultrasnow

my question is, in what ways do a firmware updates itself? coz
there has been message pooping out saying that your carier has a new settings...

will this carrier updates upgrade my modem firmware too or it is a settings/different update?

is modem firmware update upgrades itself only with ios update?

anyone else can confirm whether this carrier updates can update my modem firmware? coz i afraid my brother go update it by accident (coz its on popup) and turning his i3gs into an ipod touch

so then i can safely concluded that if my brother accidently click the popup to update the carier settings, it will just only update all that you mentioned.. and not the i3gs modem firmware.. but better still to be on the safe side, just dont upgrade if nothing is wrong with carrier related stuff (sms, mms, 3g surfing)
