yes i did few times, i even borrow my frens sim card to try it with...

now i go here n there, it show restore in progress..perhaps after i restore to factory setting, i need to disconnect my phone and now restore (sync) back the old data? Time remaining is around 10 minutes, so i just wait first. thanks for prompt reply guys.
BTW, if i want to JB this 4.3.1, is there any unthethred version? sometimes it sucks when iphone is dead when u travelling and u need a computer just to restart it.

I'm currently Jb with 4.1.1 maxis set, if i would like to jailbreak it to 4.3.3 how do i do it ?

direct upgrade my phone to 4.3.3 1st through itunes ? or need to restore back 1st before upgrading? then 2nd thing to do is use redsnow to jaibreak 4.3.3  ?

Guys,need some help on jailbreaking my friends Iphone 3g. Since its my first attempt on DIY jailbreak, I stumbled on a few problems.

My friends iphone 3g was on official 4.2.1 firmware with baseband 05.15.04 and using Digi as the carrier. I am not sure if his phone is carrier unlocked since I dont have a spare sim card lying around to try. He bought it from an AP seller.

Now comes the problem. I successfully jailbreak the phone using Snowbreeze v2.2.1 and rebooted to the main screen with cydia installed. Now the problem is the phone no longer detects the digi sim card even after applying Ultrasnow.The signal shows searching....searching....no signal. I was told ultrasnow it does not work on baseband 05.15.04.

In Snowbreeze, the only option I enable under expert mode was " Activate Iphone (Hacktivate)". Could the culprit be this?

The Digi sim card worked again once I revert back to unjailbroken state using itunes restore.
