Hi all,

I have a problem right now where my original phone I have sent back to Maxis for warranty and got a new/old/refurbish one with the iOS version 4.2.1.

This new/old/refurbish iPhone I have ran it thru tinyUmbrella 5.00.07 and found there are some SHSH listed below:

iPhone4 4.1
iPhone4 4.2.1
iPhone4 4.2b3
iPhone4 4.3

Unfortunely for me I have absolutely no idea how to restore my phone to 4.3.3 which is my preference as at now and my phone now is stuck in Restore mode as well.

My itunes version is 10.3.1.55

I have done several test and trial to restore to 4.3.3 and 4.3 both have a list of common errors encountered below:

error 1013
error 1604
error 1034
<There are several more i don't remember>

I ran the Start TSS Server and restore also keep popping out errors.
The furthest i have done is "Restoring iPhone firmware" status in iTunes and i can see the iPhone apple logo with the progress bar 2/3 finish, then error 1013 appears.

The error 1013 is due to the host file but the host file is routed to my self 127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com in order to get to install a older version of the iOS.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

Try another method. Change the host file to point to Cydia (can't remember at the top of my head), okay here it is

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

Reboot your computer and do the normal Shift + Restore and select the 4.3 IPSW file (I assume you have already downloaded the file?)

If error 1013 occurs, just use TinyUmbrella to kick the device out of recovery.

I did as you have told and when I try to restore same as before 2/3 of the bar complete it gives me the error 1013. Then I try to use TinyUmbrella to kick the device out of recovery it just reboot and goes back into recovery mode.
