thats the only way to use ios 4.3.3...need to upgrade to 4.3.5 then downgrade back to ios 4.3.3..if there is a way to directly update to ios 4.3.3 surely its already in google or in this thread..

If you have SHSH saved for 4.3.3 ( usually if you have been jailbroken on 4.2.1, then cydia will automatically save the later SHSH such as 4.3.1/4.3.2/4.3.3) you should be able to "restore" to 4.3.3

If you do not have the SHSH saved, not gonna happen. Some people say can downgrade but I don't put too much stock in that.

yup, i've read certain forum that provide steps to downgrade without shsh save but not believe it coz no one try it yet...

I've tried it but unsucessful.

seems like only with shsh save will successfully downgrade ios..without it cant do anything....

Lets hope that the ios5 untethered jb comes out soon.

I think iOS 5 will probably be out in a couple of weeks. Apple was supposed to have some sort of iPod Celebration so people were speculating that iOS 5 will be released then and the iPhone 5 will be announced there as well. IIANM, it was supposed to be on the 7th but I haven't heard anything so it could be in the next couple of weeks.

i had tried to upgrade to 4.3.5 and downgrade to 4.3.3. successful however after jailbreak it, the phone cant get any signal. even the MY MAXIS words is gone. However software and wifi still can use as usual.

Did you have an SHSH for the 4.3.3? I've read a lot of posts in modmyi about trying to downgrade without SHSH, most of the time it turns out that they have refurb units that already have SHSH saved in Cydia so technically they do have SHSH saved somewhere.

I encounter this problem on my sis in-law 3gs..i assumed that u also can't select carrier in Settings,right??at the status bar,it just show signal bar,no carrier name, and of course u can't make calls..what i did was a hard reset the device (power+home until apple logo appears)..u should do everything that u possibly can(check phone settings) before thinking to restore via itunes..only use restore as the last option
