JB for it should come in notime. Since most of the team is focusing on JB iOS5 hence 4.3.5 doesnt get untethered. When's the iOS 5 release date ?

rumors says it will released on 7th September...hope that its true...

I had one problem. How do I sync my iPhone with iTunes from my new laptop? Will all the jailbreak apps will be deleted since when I want to sync it the message "are you sure you wan to sync apps? All existing apps and their data will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library" will pop up. Does it mean when I sync I only will get the apps only from that new laptop and lost all apps in my iPhone?

guys, is there any app or s/w that allows drag&drop for music files?

i hate using itunes to sync. i can't choose to add only wat songs i wan without syncing with my laptop library

u're supposed to create a playlist in itunes, then add the songs u want to that playlist. when u sync, just choose to sync that playlist only, not ur entire library

u can have multiple playlists as well

actually u can settings ur itunes not to sync the music n videos..connect ur device with itunes, click on ur device, see the options below the update & restore box...UNTICK 'sync only checked songs and videos' and hit sync..u will see itunes will not sync music n video in ur pc's to ur iphone...

i usually clears my itunes lib, cos i don wan dupe files (i had a lot of .wma files).

does it still work in my situation?

1. i sync playlists to ipon
2. i clear laptop itunes lib
3. i wan add new songs to playlists which are in ipon.

how? still possible?

Hey guys~I just bought an iphone and its jailbreaked..I do not know what software the previous owner uses to jailbreak the devices..may I know how to unjailbreak it and get update to 4.3.3 or 4.3.5???

does this two version are capable og jailbreaking??

Added on August 16, 2011, 9:21 pmi think u can only update to ios 4.3.5...for ios 4.3.5 only tethered jailbreak is available..ios 4.3.3 is the only latest ios which only have untethered jailbreak...if u dont want to jailbreak it u can update ur ios to ios 4.3.5 using itunes..

Means that I cant update to 4.3.3 and jailbreak it?? T.T
But if I feel that 4.3.2 is quite lag and I want to restore it like factory reset but still maintain the jailbreak..anyway to do that??

can if the previous owner save the shsh blobs..BTW if u feels ur iphone laggy, try to remove all the cydia apps and tweaks..open cydia>manage>package, from there u will see all installed apps and tweaks..try remove it 1 by 1 n see the performance of ur phone..

Added on August 16, 2011, 9:33 pmclick cancel mate when the message pop out..then click on ur device and click on apps, UNTICK on SYNC APPS..surely after that itunes will not sync the apps from ur itunes library to ur iphone..

Unless if the previous owner has updated it to 4.3.3 and JB. (Have you check your saved shsh?) You can restore back to 4.3.3 and JB again if it has been saved.

If none you can only go for 4.3.5 which currently has tethered JB.

Yes of course, mind yourself to google or flip few pages back for answers. Don't mean to be rude, answer has been repeating over & over again.

Read here for informations on JB 4.3.4. Unfortunately only tethered. If I were you, I wont go for it. Save all the hassle for a perfect JB would be a wiser choice perhaps? Good luck with it.

Guys, I have a question here.

I'm on a jailbroken iPhone 3GS with 3.1.3 firmware. I wanna update my phone to iOS 4.

Will my photos, notes, calendar, sms, history will be cleared? And also my apps, will they be deleted?

Just click backup via iTunes and you are good to upgrade.
Open iTunes > plug in iPhone > Right click your "iPhone name" and click "backup".

For apps, you have to "transfer purchase" em to your PC if you dont have the apps in your iTunes.
File > Transfer purchase.

So can I say this is the process I shud do?

1. back up all my data.
2. update to ios 4

Ever care to lose Jailbreak? Then stay where you are now. Once you updated to 4.3.5, can perform tethered Jailbreak only. Google the meaning of that please.

Perfect jailbreak applies till 4.3.3 only. If you wish to neglect jailbreak iDevice, then feel free to update your iTunes first before clicking "restore" via iTunes. Oh yah, don't forget to backup your data before "restore" phrase. During restoring phrase its time for you to crunch some pop corns while waiting wokeh?
