Does anyone know the difference?

In terms of price and quality?

I only know V-Kool, my choice will be the V-Kool Elite, the common greenish hue one.

How about 3M? Never heard before but I heard it's not bad?

I cant say about other brands, but i'm currently on the top of the line 3M with safety tint, pretty good i'd say, does a decent job in rejecting heat since my car is parked under the hot sun on a daily basis. The only con is that due to its high IRR, SmartTag will not work most of the time, but GPS still ok.

Paid 2.5k for mine (after discount).

have u heard b4 of LLumar ?
installed onto my starex diamond 6 irr 97% for 3k+
lets say compare wif v-kool elite
pricing about the same
v-kool advantage : front block more can feel cooler
con : v-kool front sheet using metal base ~ over the year will rust and due to the high irr smart tags owes unable to scan through sometimes gps also reception delay

V-kool Elite rejects heat a little better than 3M crystalline 60/70 at the expense on GPS signal.
The old V-kool had problems with smart tag but it's ok with the newer ones.

Don't worry about the "metal rusting" cos on the 2 cars with v-kool in my house, one's been on for 8 years
and the other had been there for 5 yrs and they both look no different than when new.
Especially the 8yr car, hardly anyone cares for it, parked under the sun more often etc.

When I keep testing the difference (cos I keep feeling the 3M is not cool enough), the 3M still can feel
the burning sensation on hot days while the V-kool, although difference is not too big feels much better.

For me, I got no problem with GPS or Smart Tag
