Hi All,
It seems like I can't update my Ipad to IOS4.3.1 , I've tried all night. With 2 different computers and still having 3194 error. Anyone has any clues ? Not trying to downgrade, hence editing hosts file is not in the picture.
Thanks for the help.
Added on April 4, 2011, 11:28 pmDang, I had to go into DFU mode and hit restore only then I'm able to update. I dunno why...

I had no problem whatsoever. My advice is to download the ipsw file first and then do a " shift"+" restore" to do the upgrade. The file is big so safer to do this way and remember to have a full charge before this exercise.

If I am not wrong, apple have release 4.3.2 so when you try to restore to 4.3.1 itunes will verify it with apple and it will not let you restore to 4.3.1 anymore.
But of course there is a way around it...just google it.

I think the TS was trying to do it early this month so at the time, 4.3.1 was the latest firmware from Apple.

I just upgraded mine to 4.3.1 last weekend. Downloaded ipsw from 3rd party site, use shift + restore. It allow me to choose ipsw from destination folder I save my downloaded file.
Then I JB m iPad using Redsnow. Everything went well and doesn't take long to upgrade.

Last weekend is still okay because Apple was still signing 4.3.1, now apple will not sign it so no way to restore the iPad to 4.3.1 ... unless you saved your SHSH for that firmware.
