QUOTE(deepyu @ Nov 11 2005, 11:15 AM) mm..how about genting?!(have to find dark sites) or Bukit Tinggi? Genting is very bad for star gazing (tried many times). Always full of clouds (the name genting means `cloud top', hehe) and a bit too cold. Bukit Tinggi can be quite good (I have tried Janda Baik a couple of times) but being surrounded by hills, the seeing is bad for low objects. Also, the whole area is getting developed very fast and light pollution is becoming a nuisance. I am hoping to find some new dark sites to watch from before the dwindling current sites get overrun by civilisation..... At the rate things are going, it maybe that I will have to go to BP and Kluang to get some satisfactory views!

QUOTE(Mr.LKM @ Dec 5 2005, 02:54 PM) Looks like you have fun there, how many people are there? Btw, pls check out my blog for the photos. Easily thousands, but hard to say how many ppl actually came for the fair, many were probably visiting the complex itself, the fair was held next to the stage in the complex centre. Didn't see you, thot you wanted to come? Why u didn't post your Moon Venus encounter pics here? Some more pics of the Fair: Spectrohelioscope Workshop led by Dr Chong of USMDell's Giant Spectrohelioscope - don't throw away your Dell boxes! You can create your own rainbows with them. Crowd learning to build the spectrohelioscopeOur AGPM pals! AGPM again, plenty of members' pic on sale. Fantastic stuff! Wah, like pros. Anybody else has pics to post? I saw many ppl going click-click during the fair, some must be LYN regulars here lah.

QUOTE(Mr.LKM @ Dec 10 2005, 06:38 PM) Just use the IMG tag or the [url][/url] i used the [url][/url] tag, but something changed the tag when i post (add reply). Still okay in preview. Somehow the [url] becomes <a hflyingspaghettimonster instead. I think either LYN got hacked again or i've got a javascript virus in my notebook! mmmm must run the full scale antivirus scan tonite.....

Maybe i'll meet you tonite, then Hope it doesn't rain. I should have tried this morning but i woke up late, and the Sun was up. I think tomorrow morning will be better: fingersX! Which condo are you in? Can see my house from there? Wah dangerous, especially if you got telescope already. Remind me to keep my curtains closed.......

Well u of all ppl should know the universe doesn't stand still for nobody. Last night's appointment was apparently called off due to uncooperative weather. This morning also no show for the Geminids - sky totally clouded over when I woke up at 3.30 am, so i just went back to sleep.
