i'm new to this xbox stuff and would need you guys to educate me cuz i got a free xbox ( dont ask why cuz it's just free)

1) it come with 4gb, can i just buy a normal 250gb and put it in?

2) it's the black model and i just got it this month, how to check the version?

3) if i want to crack it, do i need to open it up?

4) if i sucks at opening it up, how much does the shop charge to crack it?

5) if i run on 4gb and i buy an original Halo game, does 4gb space enuff? or im screwed to get a 250gb from Microsoft?

1) yes. u need to convert to x360 format only certain firmware are supported. not actually legal, so MS can actually disable it. for now, MS has no intension of doing so.
2) what version ur refering to.
3) yes. void all possible warranty
4)not sure. can be a bomb as if they replace a very important part.
5)if u do not install games into it. u do not need a harddisk.

and the most important question u didnt ask.
is x360 w kinect flashable to play pirate?

Haha, i love this comment, everyone just assume all consoles can be pirated...

Just have to wait, like iphones, jailbreaking is usually a few months late...

in the mean time, buy some original games and play... you will not regret the money spent...

not a cheapo but a real poor sob.

plus the games i browse thru is bout RM150+

and most of the bloody shop i went only sell pirated stuff...so im intrigue as i tot xbox and ps3 can't be crack therefore i am merely try to quench my curiosity.

either way, have no experience with xbox platform and saw a shop selling the hdd for RM599!!! man...

Yes, you can still play online as these are not PC games which require you to register legit CD-Key to play online. However, IINM newer EA games require you to purchase code for $10 to play online if you buy second hand games.

Beware that by buying second hand games, you may not get whatever DLC extras that came with the games. If you didn't care about DLCs, then you are fine.

I am still new, my xbox less than 1 month, I got my relative to buy for me in Singapore for my first two games. Then now I buy from Pbbseller and 2nd hand from other former. I find PBBseller price quite ok... I haven't bought any from Play-Asia yet...

i also got it 2 weeks ago only...
