Yea..Imagine what kind of stuff you will doing with ipad.

Watching videos, reading, light gaming and surfing net.
Ipad 1 can do all these so far.

Better get 32GB at least. Some 3d games can hit closer to 500mb storage.
Bigger storage is also good for those who don't want to waste time in converting videos into mp4..

Watch and delete. There are apps which allow to watch rmvb, mkv, avi, flv or so on.

As a student y buy ipad? no usb port etc etc. save ur money and buy laptop/notebook. I hv ipad 1 but not buying 1pad2 cos not so much different as u know the price know is so high. Ipad 1 is good enuff and the news is ipad 3 is coming soon. Maybe wait for ipad 3.....

Just bought my father in-law an iPad 1 16GB +3G in KLCC for his birthday. He's a happy camper.

I think 16GB is enough especially with Homesharing in iTunes and iOS 4.3, you can just stream the movies/music to your iPad from your iTunes library without having to put those movies/music into your iPad. This alone will save you a lot of space. I'm using a 16GB iPhone 4 where I upgraded from the 32GB 3Gs, I find that if I just put things (manage via iTunes), I will be able to fill up 10GB of stuffs in the iPhone, if I'm done listening to the music or if I'm not playing anymore with any of the games, I just deselect the apps/music from my iTunes and resync and I'll free up a lot of space. No problem. It's just a matter of managing the space and it's not that complicated.

storage is depends how u use it ...if u wan to keep throw stuff inside your ipad without managing them even 64gb won't be enough for u ... just keep stuff that you needed and delete the others 16gb would be more than enough...
