It's not bad,at least from my quick search.
So far there's no glaring issue being reported, though i suggest searching more about it.
About the Gigabyte board, the price is too close to boards like the Asrock P67 Extreme4 and the MSI P67A-GD55,these two boards are highly recommended if you have the dough.

oh ok... but i did'nt plan to SLI.. so single PCI express x16 is gud enuf 4 me.. will take a look on both mobo.. smile.gif

You know what?Scratch that, upon some further searching i found that the UEFI is buggy on the Pro3,on the P67A-C45 it used to be buggy too but not anymore. The Gigabyte's board on the other hand is solid.

Don't waste your time on this guy smile.gif He only goes by article and acts like Mr. Know-It-All without owning any of these.

user posted image i haven't used the board....

I've tested it,friends brought the parts to me,asked me to assemble them, works fine, ran stability tests like IBT/Prime95,OCed at first but friends wanted them to run at stock .
So,yeah i've used them,problem?

Finally, why did you single me out for recommending based on reviews huh?Why not the others?

You've tested literally nothing smile.gif I'm pretty sure on that so now you're using your "friends" to defend your article readings. Please do not be childish by posting unnecessary images, it doesn't save you from the topic. It'll be good if you be more responsible and stop confusing others.

wanna try my luck with ASRock...
is it good 4 some mild OC?

compared to
1. Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3
2. MSI P67A-C45
3. Asus P8P67-LE
*
I've the 1 & 3 .. both have annoying problem .. The Gigabyte, if you use the reset button, sometime you'll ended up in a reboot loop. I've no idea what the mobo tries to do, but it will do a reboot without going to POST .. the only way out is to take the power off or to reset the CMOS. The Asus on the other hand, it will not properly shutdown .. few seconds after you shut down, it will goes alive as if you're rebooting. I've no idea if this happens to all P8P67-LE, but it does to mine and when I try to go back to the shop, they said that I bent my socket pin and won't allow me to go for a swap.. damn shop I'll never ever put my foot on anymore. The fact is, nothing wrong with the pin, it could run OS fine and looking at the internet, I'm not the only one having this problem.

My conclusion .. the current sandy bridge motherboards are not ready for the masses. Intel needs to trash all the bugs and the manufacturers need to come up with better BIOS. I'm now having Asus mobo collecting dust.. grrr..

To be honest, I've used quite a number of different boards for almost every chipset smile.gif Currently for Sandy Bridge, I've used 2 and the Asrock Extreme 4 and M4E works like a charm. The only difference is that the M4E has more things to control/set, looks better, more features and slightly added stability on high overclocks.

Gigabyte boards are known to be funny most of the time with weird problems. I gave up on them. If you can, please compare boards are the mid-range price tag. Don't buy cheap low end boards to conclude that the chipset is lousy because if cheap boards are really so good, no one will buy a RM1K board. There must be some differences somewhere and I know it does (after trying out so many) biggrin.gif

It's a good board, overclocks just as good, simple and straight forward smile.gif 4.7Ghz running rock solid stable and could go more (just didn't bother to test at that time). The BIOS settings are quite limited but it can be good/bad depends how you see it. I might be getting Sabertooth soon or MSI biggrin.gif Asus M4E gets my chip 4.7Ghz just like the Asrock did but the board looks better - that's it tongue.gif

As requested, I tested the P67A-C45 with the latest BETA BIOS available pairing with 2600K. Due to the fact that the review done by coolice found at the link below was actually done during pre-NDA time, the Max Multi available was x38. But now it's fixed. Refer to the Screenshot below. Cheers.
