This one depends on each individual branches.

Did you get a hamper this year?

I go to the same branch every year and been getting hampers... but this year nothing... not a single gifts available
*
Not for this year but based on previous year trends as discussed in this thread, it's common for different branches to come up with their own method to encourage depositors to fill up their quota.

No problem on Chrome. Just to be sure, this is the link that you were accessing right?

EDIT: Statement still stuck at November though; just in case you're checking for December's statement.

what's the benefit of paying via boost if being charged RM1 per transaction.
the cashback sometimes (more often) is less than RM1
*
Most of the time, Boost has bill missions where you can get a few ringgits worth of cashback by fulfilling the requirements. That will easily offset the RM1 fee.

Hi all,

I would like to understand more about the withdrawal for SSPN-i and SSPN-i Plus.

If I were to take the RM300 package of SSPN-i Plus (SIMPANAN SSPN-i RM270, SUMBANGAN TAKAFUL RM30), how much can I withdraw after a year? Is it RM270 x 12 or RM300 x 12?

If I understand correctly, SUMBANGAN TAKAFUL is insurance, which means it should not be part of withdrawal, right?
*
If you're getting SSPN-i Plus, then you can only withdraw 3 years after opening the account.
QUOTE(deejay220989 @ Dec 15 2019, 04:07 PM)
Also, for SSPN-i, if I put RM8k, next year can withdraw everything as in RM8k? No need minimum balance in account?

If there are any FAQ/links on withdrawal, kindly let me know. So far from their FAQ it seems straightforward, hopefully it is really that straightforward laugh.gif

So I guess for those who just want to enjoy RM8k tax rebate, will just go for SSPN-i instead of SSPN-i Plus?

Thank you.
*
Yes, full withdrawal equals to closing account. You can leave RM20 behind if you wish to keep the account active.

Yes, I would rather get insurance coverage from insurance company rather than SSPN.

If you read further, he did explain that he accidentally used his own name for the beneficiary field.

yup, saw this before, but most of us reported don't have such issue.
actually what i want to ask is, any date we can transfer out on next year, but won't effect the 2019 statement? 1st Jan 2020, or wait few days later?
*
You'll not be able to withdraw at all in the first week or so since they'll be doing reconciliation.

Have u ever heard the term legal but unethical?
To me it is 100% unethical.
It's people like you that game the system and taking money not rightfully yours.
*
You do realize that SSPN provides ~4% interest if you deposit for long term right?

And you do realize that they could have easily come up with new T&C where the tax relief is only applicable if your deposit stays with SSPN for X duration right?

So by unethical, that's your own personal perspective which I wouldn't dispute if that's how you want to see it.

I'm interested though, which part is sinful now?

You need to understand the difference between SSPN-i & SSPN-i Plus. They're 2 different things!

Anyone know about the withdrawal rules from SSPN?

As I read through the QnA from the official site, it mentions that the fund must be more than 3 years and have balance of RM1k.

However, this site mentioned different story.
https://themalaysianreserve.com/2017/03/31/...s-of-sspn-pt-3/

Anyone has experience withdraw fund from their sspn account? Please share.
*
Why look at 2017 article when this thread is already full with updated info?

Search this thread using "withdraw" keyword & you'll get all your answers.

The first question you need to ask yourself; are you referring to SSPN-i or SSPN-i Plus? That website is way outdated since there's no longer SSPN now but just SSPN-i or SSPN-i Plus.
