It's so easy to do withdrawal via BI; the only pain is you will need to go to the branch for account application. At least, this was what I went through early last year. Luckily the bank officer handled my application is friendly. I opened mine at KL Sentral branch.

I initiated a withdrawal via an app on 09th Feb, then followed by the CNY holidays; I only got the fund yesterday morning. After that, I immediately initiated another withdrawal by noon and got the money yesterday evening.

Hmm. Is there any issue with withdrawing using Bank Islam? I haven't done this for almost a year now. Is there any limitation that I'm not aware of?
Context: My ShopeePay screwed up, I reloaded RM 3k to make payment to an offline merchant, but the payment failed due to security purposes blah blah blah. I escalated to CS because I need to make payment to the merchant, and they needed time to solve it. Now, my fund is stuck inside, and I need to find a legitimate way to withdraw my money in case I cannot make this payment. So, I am considering transferring it to my SSPN account and withdrawing it using BI. I need to find an alternative rather than waiting for their CS to solve for me. QUOTE(datolee32 @ Apr 17 2025, 05:46 AM) Early this month I withdrew from SSPN to my BI account, there was no issue and 50 cents transaction fee. Do take note withdraw and transfer share the same quota, meaning if you withdraw RM30k, you only have balance RM20k quota to transfer. Thanks for this information. RM 50k is more than enough for me. |

QUOTE(ylihao @ Apr 23 2025, 08:47 PM) You can withdraw to any bank via PTPTN’s web portal or app, but limited to RM1,000 per withdrawal and you have to wait for the previous withdrawal to clear before you can initiate another withdrawal, usually a few days. If you want to withdraw more than 1K it has to be Bank Islam, will charge 50 sen per withdrawal, and transfer is instant. QUOTE(ideaplus @ Jul 3 2025, 03:44 PM) |

QUOTE(ideaplus @ Jul 4 2025, 11:33 AM) Thanks for the reply. May I ask if I can determine the withdrawal amount if I have no plan to have a CASA from BIMB? Yes, via the app but max only RM 1k per transaction and have to wait it is cleared only, can only put in the following requests. ideaplus liked this post

QUOTE(ideaplus @ Jul 5 2025, 08:06 PM) MyPTPTN is only RM 1k per transaction regardless of banks. Once it’s cleared only you can perform second transaction. If you use BIMB app you can perform withdrawal (>RM1k) using their app and service charge is RM 0.50 per transaction. ideaplus liked this post

QUOTE(ideaplus @ Jul 5 2025, 09:50 PM) Yes, I know. That's why I opened a Bank Islam Basic Savings Account-i. Still, only RM1K/day. Maybe I need to go the branch to clarify. There’s nothing wrong with your BIMB account. You need to withdraw using BIMB app and not MyPTPTN. MyPTPTN is only RM 1k per transaction. ideaplus liked this post

QUOTE(Haloperidol @ Jul 10 2025, 11:08 AM) diu, i just called PTPTN, they say 7 to 14 working days.. Not so long la. My experience just a few days, like 3 working days or something. Not sure now. How about the Bank Islam - SSPN withdrawal method, i'm aware that it has 0.50 service charge, but is it instant / within a day ? - yeah i read it already, Bank Islam is instant. Yes, BIMB is instant. |
