if i withdraw from my sspn today, will they still calculate interest for Jan 2020 ? or should i wait a later date ?

How much you withdrawing? 8k?

1 month interest @ 4% is only rm26.66 per month.

Will you will lose sleep over just for rm26?

Just curious, to continue get the tax relief next year, if I take out RM50k in Jan 2020, I must put back RM50k + RM8k (Total of RM58k) in Dec 2020, in order to enjoy the RM8k tax relief for next year, right?

Btw, where did you go to withdraw, SSPN office or Bank Islam?  hmm.gif

new to this SSPN, does that mean as statement above, we need to have fresh 8K every year to get the tax rebate? Example 8K for taksiran 2019, 16k for taksiran 2020, 24k for taksiran 2021 to be deposit/in account in at least december to enjoy the maximum pelepasan cukai?

Yes. The bold amount above should show or list as carry forward balance as of 31-Dec each year for full tax rebate eligibility.

Correct but don't forget that in 2020 you will get interest on your 2019 amount (assuming you didn't deposit on Dec 26th).

This interest is not counted as part of your fresh 8k. So by end of 2020 you need more than 16k inside actually.

if you look at the penyata hasil, the formula is excluding the dividend for net deposit.

look at the formula on how to determine "nett deposit" for tax relief.

I think difficult to keep to 4% looking at other gov related fund performance...It still a bonus as the main intention is for tax relief..

It's should take effect immediately with 50 cents charges on your SSPN account.

If lower than 4%, I believe the withdrawing rate might be increased.
