So it seems SSPN-i plus can use credit card, but the disadvantage is withdrawal can only be made after 3 years, is this correct?

SSPN-i plus is a life insurance + savings plan that's why credit card payment it's allowed.

Tax relief given is on NET SAVINGS.

2019 onwards is 8k tax relief.
*
Net saving, means you guy will keep the saving in the SSPN without withdrawing it?

2018 put in 6k without withdrawing it until 31 Dec, entitle for tax relief that to be filed in April 2019.
What if I withdraw says 3k from the amount, does my 2019 net saving considered -3k and if anytime in 2019 i desposit 8k, will only entitle me 5k net for tax relief to be filed in April 2020, is my understanding correct? hmm.gif

or actually the 6k deposited is belong to year 2018 basket, any amount withdrawn will not affect the net saving in 2019? nod.gif

Thanks, for the Q&A 16 of the reference page, i assume the 2011 and 2012 example applicable to 2018, 2019.
However, my situation is more like withdraw the balance of

Baki akaun 2018 RM6,000
Pengeluaran deposit 2018 (RM3,000)
Penambahan deposit 2019 RM8,000
Simpanan bersih 2019 RM11,000

But am i entitled RM8k or RM5k tax relief for 2019?
anyone could enlighten me...thanks

Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN) which has been increased to RM8,000 from RM6,000.

https://ringgitplus.com/en/blog/Budget-2019...Your-Money.html

Baki akaun 2018 RM6,000
Pengeluaran deposit 2018 (RM3,000)

if I assume the baki akaun is in 2 Jan 2018, then no contribution in 2018, thus no tax relief to report in April 2019,
but if you did a contribution of RM5000 in 2018, then net contribution would be RM5000-RM3000 = RM2000,...thus RM2000 tax relief to report in April 2019

if I assume the |Penambahan deposit 2019 |RM8,000| is made in 2019, then tax relief report in April 2020....

just not sure if the tax relief will be from calculation from RM8000 or they will need to deduct the RM 3000 (that which was withdrawn in 2018), thus the calculation will be from RM8000 - RM3000 = RM5000....

by tax relief definition it is on tahun semasa.

so if i save 6k in 2018
in 2019 i withdraw all
in 2020 i just save 6k i can get the tax relief d right?
