Their intention is you deposit and don't withdraw till your child studying. Why would they want to spend resources to make it easier to withdraw?

Let think other way round.
Why they allow payment to PTPTN via credit card?

If their intention is good, they will not allow payment via credit card as it may cause the payee to default in credit card payment if they did not clear the credit card bill.

How to jump from SSPN withdrawal to PTPTN payment? Anyway PTPTN payment the priority is for payment to be made, hence accept forms of payment which facilitate that. Not their job to worry about whether the payee knows how to handle finances.

6K is SSPN specific.

The other 6k is the SSPN-i-plus or whatever they're calling it. That one is claimable under different category (the life insurance/EPF one). Useless for most of us who have regular EPF contributions and/or a life insurance plan which may hit the 6k mark already.
