hi sifu2...what mean by enjin kosong..what it have and not.why it so cheap...sifu2 pls enlighten me..

it has nothing on it, no alternator, no compressor, no power steering pump, no intake manifold,no exhaust manifold, no belts, no radiator, no air filter etc.

basically block only, anything that can be removed is removed from the engine block

Based on my experience, engine kosong :
Halfcut engine which is only have :
1) Head ( manifold, throttle body and etc) + block complete
2) compressor
3) alternator
4) distributor
5) power stering pump
6) gearbox ( sometimes include)

Normal price less than 2000

yeah coz sometimes some engines the owners don't want to overhaul but all the other components still working well so just buy engine kosong and refit original components which i think is much better

icic....it would be more expensive if want build complete engine rite? better get complete halfcut..

Bro, you civic already compression loss you can either opt to change the piston rings or plonk the enjin kosong in.

Overhaul - expensive but no prob over next X amount of years.
Enjin kosong/lantai - cheap, fast. But go for inspection to change engine number, make sure the enjin kosong comes with kastam paper. Not sure of condition of that engine.

depends on what engine u having now... if swapping the engine kosong alone is enough, go for it... other stuff such as wiring, manifolds, etc. all must plug and play into ur new engine laa....

engine kosong usually mean cylinder block and cylinder head only.... hence, its far cheaper compare to halfcut or complete engine...
