For U of Nottingham Malaysia, there are many options for E&E. They are:
-Electrical
-Electronic
-Electrical & Electronic
-Electrical & Communication
-Electrical & Computer
-Mechatronics

You can take any of those as the all have a similar 1st year (except Mechatronics). 2nd year would have 1 or 2 subject which are different while the real differentiator is in the third and fourth year (if you're doing M. Eng.).

From my estimate, 40% of the students are from other countries and therefore, you will get to meet, befriend and work with people from all walks of life. All of the students here speak fairly good English as it is one of the entry requirements.

One of the main advantages of studying at UNMC is that you can participate in the campus exchange program to the China and UK campuses for up to 2 semesters while paying Malaysia campus fees. If you do that, you can take the opportunity to tour the country or other countries during the semester breaks. (London is just 2 hours away from Nottingham by train).

Students are given a lot of autonomy in governing ourselves, forming clubs and societies, and organizing events.

UNMC has pretty good facilities and you can take a campus tour during an open day to see it for yourself.

I hope this helps.
