QUOTE(-Teddy- @ Feb 20 2013, 05:38 PM) Hello all, Hey I have more or less the same planning as you. Going lembongan as well unless if Bali island have more interesting stuff for my 6d 6n.I will be visiting Bali with my family, and has yet to finalize our itinerary. We will be arriving late at night on day one, so I'm looking for a place close to the airport. I have Jimbaran and Kuta in mind. I would like to stay by the beach and have easy access to other attractions in Bali, like Tanah Lot, Uluwatu Temple, and Suluban Beach. After 2 or 3 days of beaches and temples, I plan to head up to Lovina to check out the dolphins, and will stay one night there. I would then head to Ubud and stay 2 nights to check out the museums, galleries, and shops. I'd also like to visit Mt. Batur and the lake. After that, I would head down to Sanur and take a boat to Nusa Lembongan, and spend around 2 days there. I'd probably spend the last night at Sanur for easy access to the airport. I'm not sure how workable the plan is, and would like some inputs. Do I need to hire a driver for the entire trip (save for Nusa Lembongan) or I would do better with other mode of transportation (budget wise) to travel from Kuta/Jimbaran to Lovina, and Lovina to Ubud, and Ubud to Sanur? If I were to hire a drivre in Kuta/Jimbaran, can I have him send us to Lovina and the end of the day and have him go back to where he was all by himself? Likes: Clean, spectacular beaches. Cliffs. Breathtaking views. I read that I will be inconvenient for the driver to drive back after sending u guys to lovina. Unless he stays nearby. Therefore majority ppl will pay for the drivers lodging, maybe in a more budgeted place. So that he would have enough rest. |

I need so advice on the best place to stay in kuta seminyak or legian which can have easy access to shops, beach, some lively night spots ( as in more stuff to do after dark)
Currently I looking at the area nearby to tunes hotel. Will seminyak too far to access the shops or eateries in kuta? I plan to maybe walk around kuta and do some shopping during night time after dinner. As I will be reaching Bali around 6pm. |

Any other northern part if Bali worth going besides kintamani, mt batur and lake which got the temple there.
Any shopping places besides discovery mall? Outlets in sunset road, sukawati and ubud market? Anyone hired any driver recently? What's the rate now? Self drive is cheap but I think it's tiring. I jam all my life in kl so I really don't wish to get caught up in jam even in vacation mood. |

QUOTE(MengHoi @ Mar 13 2013, 11:07 PM) I will be staying at Kuta. Might get the chance to see that kinda view everyday! Haha. It's obviously not that nice in reality lol3 years ago was 300k. A raise of 100k is reasonable I guess? Without additional surcharge some more Anyway when is ur travel date? Can pm me ur driver details and contact? I wanna do a quote and see how much |

QUOTE(MengHoi @ Mar 14 2013, 07:21 PM) My travel date is on the 3rd April - 8th April. What about yours? Ok high tech driver rather than just email. Anything can just watsapp or confirm one day b4 I go.I contacted him via LINE message and whatsapp. Will PM his number to you I tried negotiating about the price but he was quite firm with it. Looks like there are good reviews on him, that makes it alright I guess? |

QUOTE(kaylong @ Mar 17 2013, 09:04 PM) Hi guys, I think u have been misrepresented or maybe he/she used the wrong term. Im planning to go to Bali for Honeymoon and planning to stay there for 3 nights. Im planning to stay at aria villa because read alot of good review in here. But my concern is my traveling period that would be on 24th November. I've went to MATTA fair this morning and try to inquire MAS for return trip and their staff told me that 16th November - 30th November is no travel date to Bali ( they mention about "blackout period" ). When i try to book via MAS website, it didnt mention anything about my travel period. Can anybody please enlighten me about this. Thanks Black out period is mostly used by tour agents to say that the period is usually super peak period whereby there will be no exchange of travel vouchers or promotions or what so ever. That's what I know when I used to buy travel vouchers or corporate gifts whereby my customers can't redeem it for travel during those period |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Mar 18 2013, 07:31 AM) Nope. You have to go to Perama tour office at Legian street. Yea..... I once experienced that during march towards Lang tengah... Small boat and strong wave... We were directed to move toward the front and balance both side hahahaha... Malin ? Perama tour booked for me. Include hotel transit Perama is ok. Just that my gf and I feel very unsafe. Their boat quite small and the wave So, better be safe than sorry. Mind share ur lembongan experience ? How u travel around lembongan? By bike or walk? I don't know how to ride a bike.. |
