Im not sure if this has been discussed over here before

here's my review after upgraded to iOS 4.3 ipad1.

Bad side of it.

1. Atomic/Safari always auto reload when u go back to your previously launched tab or multiple tabs. tried recognise at all version of browser also cannot
2. When surfing using 3G sumtimes it shows no connection at all(but the signal bar still there) then i have to airplane it and on it back then it works.
3. 3G also weaker signal as compare to last time (but this could be due to network congestion or something else)
4. Auto reaarange all my icon and delete my folder too.
5. Battery drain faster

Good side
1. So called multitask
2. Wifi stronger..


Anyone using iPad facing this problem too? if yes any solutions ar?? tqtq

upgraded to 4.3.1 yet?
i just got my ipad upgraded to 4.3, so i did not notice any problem.

4.3.1 is downloaded, but not updated to ipad yet..

Sorry i didn't know 4.3.1 is released. i'll try. Do i need to backup again before upgrade?

thank god i just stay on 4.2.1

any other reviews on 4.3 and 4.3.1 ?

am on 4.3.1.. batt life is better now. My email (exchange server) seems to load faster now as well.

4.3.1 is better than 4.3 if nothing for the battery life loh

Really ? But I just sit here and wait for those who updated iPad to ios4.3.1 ...

i just upgrade my iPad1 to 4.3.1 , so far so good, tested few days de..Safari , email...game...

I can't seem to update my iPad from 4.3.0 to 4.3.1.

Every time I try to, it always crash and I would have to download the whole thing again.

did u encounter my prob when you're on 4.3? or u upgrade straight from 4.2.x?

Alternative way is that download the ipsw file 1st then Right Shift + Restore.
Sometimes when you turn up to download direct from iTunes will lead to great lost.When our enternet connection meets apple download service which is 600mb file.

Yup , I upgrade from 4.2.1 straight to 4.3.1 To be honest..very noticeable changed is The safari is faster than 4.2.x

Did you encounter any error 3194 error ? I've been trying to update mine for the whole night but Itunes returns this error

The rest? what do you mean? I have no prob so far with the 4.3.1 even after Jailbreak. I also upgrade directly from 4.2.1 to 4.3.1 with a downloaded ipsw for ipad 1 gen to avoid having any errors.

the rest is the prob i stated up there.. i haven't dl 4.3.1 500mb+. mine no jb. what is ipsw?

The iOS firmware extension name.

dl 4.3.1 ipsw or any future ipsw .. its much useful if u have the file for future eg. jailbreak.
or eg. if 4.4 fw is not as good as 4.3.1, u can downgrade it back to 4.3.1 later ..
u can hold shift + update/restore in itunes later..

Updated to 4.3.1.
No hotspot.The most boring iOS update i ever seen.

3.2.1 is the best.

i think so loh.. only downside is no so called multi task..

anyway i just updated to 4.3.1 minutes ago. now testing testing, will keep u guys update.

3.22 better. cause still support pendrive via camera connection kit. when i upgrade to 4.3, shown no enough power on the screen.. i redowngrade back... can use back pendrive..

the worst ever.the only function that 2percent impressed me are the rotation lock by the mute button.
other then that,no Hotspot..!

4.3.1 good thing is multi gesture...
bat life i think same as 4.2.1 (dunno whether it is better or worst)
safari and mail alil faster...
but if u do have cydia (some apps not supported yet)
i think it takes like 5mb more ram away... dunno whether issit only me... if anyone can confirm this....
so far no prob yet (touch wood)

and really cannot use USB anymore????

Ok.after a day using 4.3.1 this is what I noticed

1. Running 3G mode signal much much stronger but still got the "no connection" pops up. Have to airplane on and off it back then regain signal. I mean mostly happen in weaker signal area. Maybe when signal lost iPad doesnt know how to search for signal, bug? But it happens less than 4.3

2. Safari and atomic no more auto reload.

3. Battery seems slightly better than 4.3 but not as good as 3.2x

i agree on that.Cycle charged fully and used to watch a full movie yesterday night.Battery at 92%percent now.Will try that on WiFi activation.
Anyone knows why i cant get AirPlay function on my iPad ? Doesn't support or how ?

so 4.3.1 better than 4.2.1 ??

Oo.. so fast.. will dl soon. the auto reload browser still there even using 4.3.1

Updated for the sake of update. Haha.. 663mb i think..
Download in office only took me 9 minutes. If download at home will take 7-8 hours.. So much different. Lol!

Anyway, didnt notice any different yet!

4.3.2 out...Try 2 days...Stable Battery so far so good..i think atleast better than 4.3.1

updated 4.3.2 haven't test the auto reload yet. battery can say little bit better than 4.3.1
