1.)I just found that i have wrongly key in my name as shown in IC, eg. John Chong Lee Hui, i just key in Last name: Chong, and first name: Lee Hui, without John, so is there any problem may cause when i check in?

2.) i just leave the passport column as blank, is that ok? I did not enter my IC as well.

1) you just need your full name as stated in MyKad passport. If your English name is not part of your official name, there is no need to amend your name.

If it is, your Chinese name is adequate but if you're in doubt, you may proceed to do the changes. I dunno if you can amend name for economy promo ticket though, as stated, no name changes allowed.

2) you can add this information later.

If you terbalik the surname & given name, no problem wan bcos since I registered wth them in 2001, My surname & given name already terbalik. no problem since day 1. However since your case is you forgotten to add your christian name, just email them to add in that christian name

But i go to the "manage your booking", its only able to add in IC num only. I got Christian name on my IC, but i did not put in the booking. If the name is not a problem for check in, then it's ok. THx for your help.

Name change can't be done online. As I said my case is abit diff bcos just a minor switch between surname & given name. But for your case, diff wth IC. So better email them

Can't change. I had to buy another ticket which cost me 3 times the earlier ticket which i am trying to change.

At the same time, the guy in the Service Counter is very not friendly.

Next time if you want to change make sure you are a GIRL, am sure he will change it for you. But if you're a guy like me, just forget it he won't even bother to look at your face.

If I put wrong surname how? Let day my name is Wong lee hong. In the given name there I write Wong lee hong but in family surname I write tan Kim sim.. @@

LOL? This is totally unacceptable.
For domestic flight, I think without the christian name is ok, once or twice I gone thru without problem.
For international flight, better tepat tepat with yr name in the passport.

You can just email to Airasia customer service to change name...
I think if spelling error or forget to put christian name is ok...just email them and they will change for u..

They would not change name to other ppl...

But their customer services is damn inefficient....so wait lo...

Another ways is goto Airasia center to change.... like one in KL Sentral

hey guys sorry to bump this thread but bcs airasia changed it app layout i accidentally entered my fathers name, i thought they were asking for emergency contact... Do i have to pay for a new ticket like TS??? How to i call them bcs i can't find a customer hotline and this is urgent.

Just bring your father together &buy new ticket for yourselves. Nothing much u can do
