Another new guy here, just got me a 3DS with RE Mercenaries 3D and Street Fighter 3D~ Still pretty bad at the games, but it'd be nice to have other noobish players to play with haha. I also play the old DS games like Pokemon White and Phantasy Star.

I have a US 3DS with me, wanted to ask something. Did you guys put your location as somewhere outside Malaysia? I had to put some random US place since the e-shop wouldn't let me download anything with Malaysia registered as my location.

actually so far ... i think Brazil has the least cases of problems with buying eShop items thru credit card.

only specific ccards seem to work ok when downloading with USA regions set.

as for Nintendo Video, it's IP address range locked (not based on region set manually on 3DS). thus it only works only if your internet connection IP is deemed coming from US regions address range (if you are logged on to US eShop).

i will add you to the friend list once my 3DS is fully charged! thanks for pre-adding

So about the Club Nintendo thing... My 3DS is a US version, so I can still register under the US Club with a fake address right? Since we're in Malaysia it'd be impossible to get the nice deliverable stuff, but the downloadable games like Mario VS Donkey Kong sounds nice.

if you are open to other options then there is a reputable seller right here in LYN Nintendo ... look for Kyoyagami (he stated currently on Xmas holidays but should still reply PMs i guess). ASI 3DS official set with 3 months warranty listed @ RM640.
