hi i just bought this 3ds XL and this is my first video game console in my life.

how to see what is my friend code?

In the main menu, on the top of the touch screen, tap on the face (friends list) next to the pencil. Open your own ID card by scrolling right once. Then on the top screen, look at the bottom right of the ID card. Your friend code will be there.

Note that other games like Animal Crossing: New Leaf will have their own friend code tho.

get 3ds xl. Nintendo will never abandon its product as long as it exist. even when 3ds came out it can support games from earlier version ds devices.

but how long more until the games stopped manufacturing for 3ds xl? lol

might be same as what happen with nds,still got games come out on nds when 3ds is already out
