Board: Retain Pupils Weak in BM in Year Six

{PUPILS slacking in Bahasa Malaysia who are not able to move up to Form One should be retained in Year Six in their primary schools instead of being placed in remove classes, Sin Chew Daily reported.
The remove classes, which are transition classes in secondary schools to prepare the children for better proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, should be abolished, the paper said, quoting Malaysian Examination Board director-general Sufaat Tumin.
He said the pupils could improve their proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia by spending another year in Year Six before moving up to Form One.
Furthermore, he added, the teachers in the primary school would understand better the needs of their pupils}

I do not agree with pupil weak in BM in Year Six to be retained in Y6 and not allowed to move up; abolish Remove Class to prepare them for better proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia. By right, there shouldn’t be any Remove Class and deprived pupils from going straight to Form One.
On top of that, they result are better than any one who scored in Bahasa but fail in others or even those who just pass Bahasa and average in other subjects.
Similarly, foreigners are allowed to take MBA in Malaysia without SPM Bahasa but Malaysian is not?
Why so many man made irrational rule and limit the rakyat from progressing and at the end of the day, Malaysia are left with incompetent, charaterless people to teach and lead?
Why allowed Malaysia to be Trade Marked as “Malaysia Boleh” or “Boleh Land” and be a laughing stock worldwide.
Please help our student to move ahead to progress and not retaining them. This is really backward thinking. Encourage them instead of penalizing them. You will get a better result of a much better rakyat with better attitude in the future.
