Hi Asus team

How do I revert my BIOS for my B150M-A D3 mobo to an older version?
I flashed the latest BIOS from your support website version B150M-A-D3-ASUS-2001

From this link
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA115...4085.1484187260

Now my system just freezes in POST screen. I can enter BIOS but the moment I choose to manually select my boot drive, system freezes again.

If I turn on PC, leave it for 1 min, it freezes, doesn't boot into OS.

When I try to revert to an older version of BIOS file it says the BIOS file is not correct. I have tried all previous versions and it is not accepted to revert to older version.

However it will accept a reflash of the most current BIOS and still freezes.

Jumper reset on MB still freezes.
Remove RAM and reinstall, still freezes.
Remove all PCI cards, still freezes.
Loading default setting and save, still freezes.

Hi laytiong,

May I know what Windows are you using?

At the BIOS setting, can you help check what the is the setting for the Boot->CSM->Launch CSM?

Boot->Secure Boot->OS Type?

Thank you

Win7 Home

Secure Boot is off. I have deleted the keys too.
OS type is "UEFI + Legacy OS".

There is no option for Legacy OS only.

Hi laytiong,

Do you mind share the image of the BIOS interface for the Secure Boot and the CSM?

Thank you

No POST. Nothing shows up on screen.

It is less than 1 year old. Where can I send it in for repairs in Penang?

Hi laytiong,

For desktop component, you will need to send back to the place you bought for warranty claim.

Thank you
